#7 against the colts was #1, he broke a few guys to get in, the one handed, left handed catch behind him was one of the best ever, he had one a his shoelaces once, he was the best ever, no question, mainly because of his excellent blocking ability, tight ends job is to block a majority of the time, doesn't show up on the score sheet but it's critical to mine the ball.

Just sad to see him retire, even though he slowed down with age, and EVERYONE trying to take out his knees hie whole career,He is one of a kind, Gronk will be missed on and off the field, but I think we will be seeing him again !!

Gronk's play has been so poor this year because of his injuries, he could be taking time off but he doesn't want to. He's always injured because of the damn plays that the Pats offense always leaves him so vulnerable to get lit up by defenders. I'll miss him once he retires later on this year.

It's not the plays. Hes too much of a beast for his own good. Hes so big and so physical those little dbs are basically forced to throw their entire body weight at his knees over and over for a decade. Him and Jules are so damn tough and gritty but the longevity of their careers will suffer for it.

His run blocking is one of the most things to the Patriots' success this year, plus he will give one or two huge catches a game. He did have an all time great catch in the Super Bowl this year.

No disrespect to Gates, Gonzo and Jason Witten..but I think Gronk will surpass them all and will end up the greatest TE once he retires...I've just never seen a game changer like him at the TE position..freak of nature.

#7 should be MUCH higher. But hands down, Gronk is in the top 3 TE's of all time. only possibly behind Tony Gonzalez in my book. #2 tho...I have no words...just WOW!

Eusebio Gallegos it was a pre season game but that doesn't mean these two weren't playing all out. The strength it takes to drag a guy who's weighs about the same as you and is trying to pull you the other way on one leg.... Gronks an incredible athlete.

I think #2 should be #1. He had 2 defenders on him while he shook them and then stayed in bounds and kept running. #3 is right there though with that catch.

that best catch was the second one against denver. I think it is No.3 on that list. The one-hander in triple(?) coverage. That was just like a robot reaching his arm out and snatching the ball out of the air. But the play against the Redskins was probably the best overall play. Dragging the DB around until he has to let loose is ridiculous.

Nah this defense was way stronger than that Rams defense. His 4th and 10 double coverage against the 2015 Broncos was one of the most insane.

The plays selected in this video had some good plays, to be sure, but, for me, the highlight of "Gronk" breaking away from those two would-be tacklers near the sideline was MUCH MORE impressive as was the one-handed snatch in a crowd.
