@@lizz7162 I don't think that will happen at all! The DA is a party that respects and upholds all individualrights, as well as our Constitution! The cameras are not for spying on us, they make our neighbourhoods safer by deterring criminals or by assisting us to apprehend them!
The EFF and ANC is the one political party but two different branches.Eff is only a distraction for the public and are supposed to create chaos to distract on important things . ANC is not interested in helping the citizens in this country but to help themselves and those near and dear to them.the only time they do show any interest in the people is when they need the people's votes.and when they back in power the people are forgotten with their daily struggles and the ANC are back to their corruption and stealing from the poor
Thank you Rob for your insight, you are really on point. However the main challenge we are facing right now is votes rigging. In all fairness ANC should be seating on the opposition side. #ANC must fall.
People like Rob Hersov give me a lot of hope about my beloved South Africa. I hope he never gives up By the way there a lot of us who would like to see South Africa thriving and moving forward however with the current government we have in place that will never happen. We need to kick them out of office next year.

I think the awareness is there. I had this discussion with my mother the other day. We can't have more of the same come 2024. Can't be like apartheid government and definately not like the rotten, even more corrupt ANC. It must be groundbreaking in that it should be differently run than before. We are not children, we understand any government made big enough, is prone to corruption. But we have a very low bar. Can the next one show us it's not just slightly better than the worst. I have hope they can. Fact is, South Africans will need to be more involved in stead of focussing being fat and happy and on to the next braai with every spare moment. Keep their polititians feet to the fire. Otherwise absolute power corrupts absolutely. It has shown to be that throughout history, throughout countries and keeps on repeating if the populace gets complacent.

Rob Hersov is like a breath of fresh air blowing over a great nation gone wrong. It’s time for more such voices to stand up and be heard. SA is a uniquely special nation and needs to find its rightful place that has gone missing.

It is past time, we know what needs to be done, let's do it. I have African friends who still stand by the ANC. They see the country going down hill and people suffering but they think it's normal, because their parents suffered and I am to blame. Yet, they live in mansions

Accounting; MBA and DBA= Doctorate in Business Administration so I understand where you "are coming from" regarding your recommendations to save South-Africa and ABSOLUTELY agree with you and am as impatient and straight up as you are. I only hope that the political parties listen AND START working on a coalition agreement before the coming election in order to be able to react fast. What SA needs is MANAGEMENT not politics. We need a Rob Hersov type person to be the country's MANAGER, not president. Run this country as a legitimate BUSINESS.
It is wonderful to listen to Rob and what he has to say. That's because I feel exactly the same way, and wish more people would get out there and vote - even my children for the most part can't be bothered, as they believe it won't make any difference! If all the people who thought like that, changed their view and voted, that would be wonderful, as for sure, the ANC would be out. They are the ones complaining about what is happening, how load shedding is ruining their everyday lives, but what do they do about it? Nothing. My feeling is that if only all could vote for the same party - the opposition, then our lives would steadily start improving and become again a first world country. But they will split the vote and vote for parties who have only talked the talk and not walked the walk, in other words, not run a huge Provence and who haven't been tested. People in this country should forget colour. For 29 years, they have had people of colour in Government,, and the country has hit rock bottom in every way. Why let it stop you from voting for somebody with experience and knowledge of how to run the Western Cape, even though he is white. It is nothing to do with colour, apartheid and the thoughts behind it are all over now, and time to think differently. After all, if you were running a company, and wanted to employ somebody for a really important job, you would eventually decide who was fit to fit this position, with years of experience, and it wouldn't matter what colour they were. The Elephant in the room would be the ANC, who, even when ousted, would step up their form of terrorism and deviousness as they did before 1994. You can call it freedom fighting, but remember, Ghandi didn't fight in the same way, he was a man of peace. All most of us want is a peaceful life, plenty of available jobs, good education, enough food and a decent roof over our heads, and to be able to trust parliament and its leader!
More and more people seem to be of the opinion that many of those people that Rob mentioned, are the source of the problem; that business is actually propping up the ANC? It would be nice to know Rob's opinion on this.

Love Rob...but I have to fact-check him on the issue of the 3 Navy submarines. They are diesel powered, not nuclear. The navy can't operate them because they don't have the budget for diesel.
In 1999 I went to the dockyard in Simonstown with my classmates, (fieldtrip) and we saw the nuclear subs. The guide specifically told us that they were nuclear powered. I was a wet behind the ears greenie that thought nuclear was bad so I remembered.
@Tanaya Bellydance we never had nuclear-powered subs. Go and read the facts on all 6 submarines we bought. 3 are already taken out of service, and the other 3 are currently unserviceable!
