Created by Rob McElhenney, the co-creator and co-star of the long-running FX comedy, "It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet" is a comedy series for Apple TV + that takes place in the fictional studio that created the biggest MMORPG, "Mythic Quest." The story follows the team of developers as they navigate the challenges of running their game while dealing with the difficulties of office life. The cast of the series visited BUILD.
BUILD is a live interview series like no other-a chance for fans to sit inches away from some of today’s biggest names in entertainment, tech, fashion and business as they share the stories behind their projects and passions. Loved this show. Everything I've seen on Apple+ so far has been a banger but this was probably my favorite one I've seen. Looking forward to Central Park next, looks like another winner from the Bob's Burgers people.

An accurate depiction of Ubisoft would be taking a great concept for a game, shoving it out before it's finished and full of bugs, and then continuously fucking up the game with each update they release and then downplaying their fuck ups. Fortunately the show is waaaaaay better than Ubisoft.

They keep saying that there hasn't been a video game comedy, or one about the industry, but The Guild fits both those descriptions. Both are different, but there are also some similarities, and funnily enough, many are being mentioned here, as if Mythic Quest was the first. A diverse groups of characters (age, sex, etc.) that centers around video games and (eventually for the Guild) shows the people within the industry who make the games? Yup, check checkity check. Not hating on the show (I like it a lot), and MQ is definitely unique and different from the Guild, but it just struck me that everything they were saying was new ground about MQ was already done by the Guild.
