I'm not a Brady fan but I'm not throwing a tantrum because the man wants to do the one thing in the world he loves to do. Rob coming off a little delusional.
He spent a day in the stands and thought this life ain't for me. It's hard for the great ones to retire , especially when you are nowhere near a decline. I'm convinced Kobe would have played 2-3 more years if he didn't tear his achilles , just an impossible injury to overcome in the later stages of a career. But Brady finished 2nd in mvp voting and had a record breaking season , so I knew he was coming back didn't expect it to be so soon , but the NFL is better with Brady in the narrative. Brady won't retire until he has nothing left in the tank , and after how the year finished with the Antonio Brown situation and the way they lost to the Rams I'd say there is unfinished business.
I know it's a stick (joke) at this point with Rob Parker 🤣😂 like 15 years ago Rob was saying Brady won't get to or win a Superbowl. Now he is winning too much and has a sickness🤣🤣🤣
It would be so damn amazing if Brady gets to another SB after Rob saying this. Nobody blames Brady for not wanting to give this up. Rob thought Brady was dead like 5 years ago. Edit: Damn, Rob is a very bitter old man. This is creepy.
he's a bitter NY bastard who shits on Brady for no reason but yet when Aaron Rogers who has 1 Super Bowl championship yet sets regular season records, flames out in the 2nd round of the postseason
Then he should not have retired in the first place. When the media reported that he was retiring, he should have just said no I am coming back for another season.
Rob has a point about Tom's lust for the limelight. Magic Johnson said stars are so used to seeing their faces on TV that it becomes very hard to let go.
Did you just say Rob Parker has a point? Who the hell is Rob Parker to tell any grown man what to do with his life or his career no matter how old he is you and 10 other people who liked your comment have some damn nerve
I could understand Rob's argument if Brady was a skunk on the field. The guy should have won the MVP and had one of the best seasons in league history last year. He's playing at a high level and better than most in the league. Once he starts to actually decline let's show him the door... Until then I'll enjoy watching.
Agree. I believe someone leaked a conversation or overheard Tom Brady discussing his options leaning toward retirement, and under pressure from his family and the story growing that weekend, I caved and announced his retirement. Having Gronk come out of retirement to play in Tampa and win, Tom Brady just thought to himself, I can still do this, s why not? I agree, big paychecks doing something you love comes once in a lifetime so enjoy every minute of it!
I don't follow football but I'm happy brady is back. I love greatness. Let him try and make even more history. He loves the game. Let him play and enjoy
We all know the real reason Rob Parker is mad at this and taking it personally. Because he's still upset that his lover AR12 hasn't won his long coveted 2nd SB. And so Rob takes all his anger out on Tom Brady because for some reason he can't take it out on Rodgers.
Why does Tom Brady need to go home… he has earned the knowledge of football NOWADAYS he has a lot of fun because he seen all defenses and all the answers to the tests
I mean I’d be pissed at Brady too if he comes back to ruin my dreams of a Super bowl championship. FYI I’m a huge Tom Brady fan lol. Rob only has fame and recognition as the Brady hater so he argument is the same for himself.
I am with Rob on this one. Ever since he posted that picture of himself when he was leaving the Patriots and you couldnt tell if he was leaving the stadium or entering it, Rob called him out on that saying it was selfish of him to do that when the super bowl was still going on, making it all about himself. I gave Rob the benefit of the doubt but i wasnt totally convinced. But this is just the smoking gun. When he initially retired something told myself "Man if this guy reverses this Rob Parker is going to hit the roof", AND HE DID Rob has been right all along about Tom Brady being selfish and an egomaniac.
I agree with Rob Parker. There's a possibility that TB might announce his retire again. He can't be motivated enough to be ready for the next season or something.
hahahaha Rob is so wrong. The only ones who don't want him to comeback are the media and the people who want a chance to win lol. The causal fan don't really care what he did we get to see the greatest QB of all time one last season. Let the chips fall where they may but we get to witness the GOAT one last time and we love it, Rob quit hating lol. GO RAMS!
That's what I been saying, he has selective memory. He loves to talk about Tom Brady cheating, well hell, maybe Aaron Rodgers should cheat, because he can't seem to win the same a damn thing without cheating lol.
I hear ya, if my feet and ankles weren't shot due to flat feet & arthritis I'd still be hoopin at the Y against my son and his friends and I'm only 41.
I agree with Chris. I think he just loves the game. I don’t love or hate Tom Brady so it didn’t matter to me whether he stayed or not. I can appreciate greatness.
It's getting kinda comical that all these sports personalities have used every negative take they can think of to discredit him coming back. Why can't it be that he just loves to play and compete and he knows he can still do it at a high level? Our society is damn negative with everything!
I literally don’t even take Rob Parker takes seriously , I just listen for entertainment value . This man calling Tom Brady pathetic and an attic for wanting to play football. Lmao . Once you stop you can’t go back . He’s been relatively healthy throughout his entire career . He’s earned the rite to walk away when he wants.
Rob is 100,000% correct on this. After all the success and fame in this man life he is terrified of not being the topic of discussion. It’s really sad. He looks and plays like a old man trying way to hard to be young. Let it go Tom. Move on the the next faze of you life for your family.
It's selfish and arrogant to tell other people what they should do in their career and expect them to do it. If Brady can still play the game he loves and his wife doesn't mind, who are any of us to say he shouldn't? That's crazy. It's not like he's a bus driver and can see anymore or a surgeon who's hands shake, or a professor thats senile, or a police officer that is so scared of his own shadow that he's quick to pull a gun. If he plays too long, he's not hurting anyone, the game will let him know when he can't do it anymore.
You won't find too many people out there that are bigger Brady fans than me but I oddly somewhat agree with Rob to an extent. I just want Tom to leave now while his body is still healthy. He has nothing left to prove to anyone but that urge to compete continues to burn inside him.
