Today Fab Morvan is a perfect singer. Rob Pilatos had the voice and sometimes I wonder what would have happened if he hadn't died. Surely today Fab and Rob would sing wonderfully well all their hits.
Agreed. Milli Vanilli would have had a resurgence as a nostalgic act today. Both guys were talented, they just needed to hone their voices like Fab did.
@@johnm140Exactly. Fab was on tour here with John Davis, one of MV's studio singers, as "The face and the voice" (although both were singing). Since John Davis passed away, Fab has been holding his own. I always think of Rob and wish he could also have all of that. 😢

The whole thing around Rob breaks my heart into pieces. He was the brightest flame you could find. And he was just used. How can ever this be justified. I was mesmerized over him around 89-90. HE was not the only the image, he was the souls of MV. I am an atheist, so I can only hope that the producer and those who bring him down will just receive plain "karma", which is not a religious thought but just a thought of universe evening out the entropy i the best way.

The woman narrator then talks about Robert being an adopted child and was hit when he was at his most vulnerable state. The psychologist then talks about the whole thing being a lie - the Mili Vanili band and how someone took advantage of the whole thing - played them like puppets on a string. She talks about how Rob believed in him and had him like a father figure- probably the manager? Then they show the funeral and she says that it took a big hit on him - the death by drugs / suicide? Then at the end she says hounded as an adoptive kid, downfall at stardom, silenced as a singer, died as a drug victim.

I HAD their posters all over my wall, when the so called scandal broke out, I remember crowds of people burning their cassettes, they were so angry, but if they would've just took a moment to think how the songs made them feel,regardless who sung. @@doreen3229 I read that Rob never had a son. If you search online there are no pictures of any son because he never had one. Also the new Milli Vanilli 2023 documentary on mentions that Fab had 4 kids and lives in the Netherlands. Rob had none.

I feel like he was the brother I never had. I wish I could have told him that his "dreams will come true.......his life will be great. Don't give up. You're just getting started." He had a bad childhood hood growing up as a orphan and suffering horrible discrimination because of his colors. Life was way different, then. RIP brother Rob.
