We were in Albir four weeks ago, go as you can easily walk to Altea. The old town in Altea is fantastic. You can take the tram or bus from Benidorm for peanuts.

Lovely genuine people, great tour - am housebound just now but feel like I'm tagging along and loving it.

The chinese portions were gigantic! I wonder if one to share would have been possible. You both are living THE life! I confess its a dream come true for me and I love your down to earth videos.

Did Europe tour 20yrs ago in a converted ldv 400 ex post office walk thru massive thing it was spent 6weeks away and only stayed at one camp site for a couple of days in all that time ,in Benidorm we parked on the sea front right next to an English cafe on spare land we also stayed in Alicante at the bus station on some spare land we never got bothered anywhere we parked how times have changed,, on the road to nowhere we had painted on back of the van , like max and paddy haha

What a great video last nights was , you two are so funny, Lisa does Mark ever stop eating 😅 , we are intreged as to what is coming in the next video, can't wait . Please don't forget to post the vlog on how you repaired your motorhome. ❤

Hi Lisa & Mark - new subscriber here - ho!!! how my ears picked up when you called at Zaragoza an unknown city in Spain - my daughter lived there for 5yrs & got married there - it is very much a business city but still has the St Micheals (M&S) & if you cast your mind back to the 70's there is still a C&A'S store - The Basicilla is stunning we are not religious people but we walked round the square at christmas time & WOW what a sight "No one celebrates christmas eve like the Spanish. The church was covered in a beautiful curtain of lights & inside so tranquil you had to see it to believe it - Thank-you for a flash back in time

Love your channel, I also get eaten alive by mosquitos, hydrogen peroxide is brilliant on bites within 24 hrs itching done, but get the spray with 50% deet as a repellant and spray often, it doesn't smell great but its so good it keeps flies off my horses, super drug sell it Peroxide makes ur fingers white so where gloves wen putting it on bites, good luck much love xx😊

Brilliant guys. Loved it as usual. Think the place in tapas alley was trying it on. We got finger tapas there for between 2 and 3 euros. We also tried the sharing dishes which were between 5 and 8. Bus to albir and altea, which is even nicer is 1 euro 65 each way and runs about every 20 minutes

The bamboo is excellent value for money , we lived in benidorm for 18mts and the bamboo was a frequent place to visit

That hotel I would call "Hotel Detox: yes I am sad

The egg was a quail egg. We have lived in andalusia since 2006. Take it from us that it is good value to live here. We have a 2 bed flat with stunning sea views at Mijas Costa. Our Poll Tax is 142.50 Per Year. Yes you read it right. We get a lot more for our euros here.

We travelled to the Orange Blossom coast a few different ways and a few times we went by motor bike from England and stopped at the Central Market, parked up in the shade in the Av César Augusto, when we came out, a Female Guardia Civil was waiting by my bike and told me I shouldn't be parked there, I apologised and gave her a clementine, so she sat down and had a picnic with us and talked to my wife about long distant travel on a bike!

You guys are the most penny pinching couple out there , good on ya , we all love a bargain , ive seen some of your other vlogs you have done and u just have a nack of sniffing out a bargain , if u guys had to pay £15 a meal this would get your brain ticking as this would be high end dining for you , but im sure you guys would hunt down an a la cart meal for that , proper bargain hunters , keep up the good blagging and living on a benefit budget ...... the best bargain loving brits abroad , enjoy guys

I used to go to Benidorm many years ago (at least 40 years ago) with my mum and my son when he was little. The market took me right back and it looks like it hasn't changed either! The scamming trick was going on then as well. The friends would stand around making out to be tourists winning and when they had drawn in the real tourists, they would stand back and act as watchers in case the police turned up. We were there in the days of Sticky Vicky. She was the most popular act there and it really wasn't sleazy. I know she retired and her daughter took over. No idea if anyone is carrying on with the family show. I doubt it. Even back in the day when Benidorm was seen as a joke resort, we always had a good time and it was a great family holiday. The weed Hotel as you call it 🤣 has what is called a living wall. Very popular I believe in Japan and other countries.

True Spanish tapas is usually €2-3 with any alcoholic drink you buy.
