Great Vlog but, sometimes I wish we wouldn't say it's so cheap in Benidorm because sometimes it's not the case versus prices in England and the stuff that is cheaper gets marked up by the Spanish like cigs and alcohol because of people continually bragging it's cheap, just say nowt and enjoy 🙂

Top tip. Use skin so soft from Avon. This is the best midge/mosquito repellent. Don't use repellents containing, "deet" not good for you!

The Iceland store was the recording studio for the Benidorm TV show. For brits that live here we know the food is expensive but things you grow up with are worth paying for. Everyone has their own favourite. We nearly lost all the Icelands after Brexit but they quickly caught on to using Ireland as the go between. Enjoyable video as always. Take care.

It's the Poniente beach. I used to go into JJ's over 25 years ago. They were 24 hours back then so we would be dancing all night and go into JJ's at 4 or 5am . Happy times. When you were in the old town one evening, you asked what that thing was in the sea. There used to be a fountain in the sea.

Well I really enjoyed that tour around Benidorm, it certainly does look better now than when me and the wife last went about 18 yrs ago. What used to do my head in was when we used to go out at night to the different bars the entertainment was good, but then the next night you could go out to another bar and it would be the same entertainer which did exactly the same act in exactly the same order as if they were reading it from a script. A bit off putting when it was a comedy act and you knew the joke before they had even finished it 😂 We may just give it a try again as that experience was a long time ago. The food did look more than reasonable and I'm glad mark found a good Chinese, and he's giving Sticky Vicky some good advertisement 😂

Just catching up with you're past vlogs as me and the hubby have just found you on RU-vid 👍 we are from North East England South Shields,we've got a great sea front Colman's fish chips top rated,you'd love it here there's shops in the town 5 mins from the sea front 2 lovely parks ,oh and a tip to stop mosquito bites put some Vick rub on your wrists and ankles they hate the smell 👍 😆

Brilliant guys. Waited all week for that and didn’t want it to end. We did a walk round vlog of camping Raco and would definitely stay there when we eventually get there. That end of town Is a lot more relaxed and plenty of cheap bars where you see lots of brits from the sites that live there. Mark almost smiling after that Chinese. It does seem to be the most popular in Benidorm. Thanks again guys ❤

The bit you saw in the sea at the viewing point is a fountain I have seen it work a couple of times as I used to live near Benidorm in a town called Villa Joyosa ( meaning Happy Town ) it’s worth a visit with the coloured houses along the sea front some lovely places to eat and yes there is a Chinese 😂

I have the NUMBER 1 best hack for mozzy bites. Trust me- this works! I’ve used it for years. (An elderly friend who live in Barbados for years told me.) Get a cup of boiling water and a teaspoon. When the spoon is hot, tap the back of it on and around your bite. When it’s cooled slightly, hold the back of the spoon on the bite. It relives the itch IMMEDIATELY and stops it spreading. The heat boils the histamine under your skin and kills it! No itch! (It may start tingling again after a while- just repeat the process. Try it!

I got a bad case of mosquito bits from turkey a few years ago and they scared me ,so use lemon or the branded sprays ,if your on blood thinners that attracts the buggers .

I had the same mosquito bites in Turkey which I've not had before. You guys should go down to almouria and cabo de gata. The spaghetti westerners were filmed and they can film you in a Clint Eastwood type film for fun. Amazing beaches .

Hi Lisa i know just how you feel with those bites, i remember being bitten and i was only standing in a bar que at the Flamingo Oasis hotel that we was staying at and the bar was one of the inside ones, also i'm surprised youtube haven't copy righted you over the use of the Bargain loving brits tune used at the end and start of each half and the word Benidorm that the programme makers used seeing how youtube copy right everything else

Fish, chips and peas in my local chippy in Filey is around £10 add a can of coke and it’s around £12 add a bread bun it’s now around £13.50 so a fish n chip supper for a family of for is around £54 ish

My Canadian wife enjoys a ploughmans lunch when we come over to the U.K. We don't know anywhere that sells them in Ontario.

sea water is great for mozzy bites, also, take half pint of local beer and leave in van over night, change each day, the mozzies dont like the smell so keep away

As crazy as it sounds, put vinegar on the bites. It neutralizes the the insect bite and is a natural antiseptic. I used to really suffer with mozzie/midgie bites that left a massive scar afterwards. You have to put the vinegar into the bite on some tissue really hard to work it into the bite. But within a few minutes the sting/burn from the insect bite is neutralised. My friend from Germany told me about this. It's a complete game changer. You can use any type of vinegar from Malt/White or even apple cider vinegar. Plus you can always find vinegar in a normal shop or have it at home on the cupboard. Yes it initially stings when you run vinegar into the insect bite but that's when you know you have applied it correctly. Since I've been using it over the last few years I've had no more sleepless nights from insect bites.

Benidorm is my favourite place, I have done a Vlog of it before but on my other channel. I'm returning twice this year, once in September as part of an epic drive from UK to Gibraltar and once in October for pleasure, I will be recording both on my channel.
