What an incredibly witty and intelligent man and he is 'RAZOR' sharp! There are no Robbie Coltrane's today when we need em' more than ever before? Many thanks for posting this gem!
"I did spend quite a lot of time learning how to look as if I knew a lot about how the roulette table works" "The ball goes round in a circle and settles in a hole" "Oh, is that it? No wonder I lost £5000!"
Robbie dealt with Clive Anderson well. You could see he was unsettled by his weight but anderson had no class. Never though he was funny and quite often crept over the line with some rather cheeky comments. Used to see him in st Andrews quite alot visiting his mother back in the day
Great guy, a true celebrity. I was beginning to think I had outgrown Telly in my mid teens. Fortunately guy’s like Robbie saved us from the army of real life, Alan Partridges . It felt like someone you knew or from your background was on television .
people keep on saying its not canned laughter there's an audience there ! i know there's an audience there but they might aswell use canned laughter it sounds so false everytime he finishes a sentence there's an nuclear explosion of laughter !
Anderson was pretty annoying in this interview certainly, but Robbie Coltrane still managed to be interesting and funny in spite of Andersons unfunny and unnecessary needling. Anderson was not always so annoying and unfunny as he is here though.
@@sturussell6599 Yeah, I poor appetite , smoke 30 cigs a day, 2x bottles of Merlot red daily,,,,I am nigh on 60yrs...we lead our life as we live. I concur with your comment
Heavy in what sense? Until he died I had no idea of his health situation - using a wheelchair and so on. I believe as I grow older it will be better for me to lose weight to reduce the load on my joints. Just look how much Matt Lucas has shed. RIP Robbie
@@jonnamechange6854 we all know he was an alcoholic let's not pretend otherwise. He was also clearly overweight in the sense that it was not healthy. I'm sorry he died he was a nice man .
@@vhsvideovault count the number of times the audience laughs i did it 60times for exactly i second amazing ! the duration is controlled the volume is controlled and i think they added laughter also. it's so contrived its the same with a lot of tv shows totally manipulated !
@@missmarplefan But you can see Clive and Robbie reacting to the audience. He's obviously very popular, and the audiences are there to enjoy themselves and are definitely encouraged to laugh. I've been to plenty of recordings of comedies, and there's always lots of laughter. Sometimes so loud and long they would have had to cut down the sound for the final show.
