is he dead? I m sure he would find it funny how every ass with a keyboard wants to put RIP on a video when someone snuffs it. It's hardly a eulogy. we all have to know he rests in peace, bit of a cliche.
He was a large man, but an even larger figure within our culture. One of the few who will be truly missed by all. RIP Valentin, RIP Cracker, and RIP Hagrid
Cracker made him. Harry Potter made him an icon with kids who in turn will always call him Hagrid. But Cracker was on the edge, brilliantly scripted and ahead of it's time. RIP GREAT SCOT, GENTLEMAN, Humourist and classic working class Hero ❤
He was a fine actor ,never seen Harry Potter but loved Cracker and Tutti Frutti ,I remember when he donated his classic car for auction on Live Aid ,he was always funny and entertaining.
I can't believe Robbie is gone. He's just 3 years older than me! He's a great comic, a great actor and a really decent good guy. Hagrid, the half giant, the lover of all magical nature. "It's alright Harry, just follow my guidance and you should be ok!" Yeah, Robbie was one in a million.
Damn. Gone. From The Comic Strip and The Young Ones to Cracker and of course bloody Potter. Coltrane was SO MUCH MORE than HAgrid and yet alas, so many will know him only for that. What a loss :(
I suppose that's how he will appeal to a modern crowd, not a bad thing! I remember him in the Young Ones, Cracker and Blackadder though. Tutti Frutti was sadly something I missed
I did too, bless you. I felt the same after HRH Prince Philip and the Queen. The last time I really felt such great loss was for Robin Williams ❤ And I still do 😉
God bless the talented, the real and the Great Robbie Coltraine ❤ Heartbroken, gutted, speechless to imagine a theatre, a movie or a play shall never again emulate poetic genius and fluent prose or humour, only this Great Scot could produce at ease with brilliance and stature ❤
I Must Admit I Got A Big Shock On Friday Afternoon When I Turned My TV Set On & Learned The News Of His Sad Passing RIP Robbie Coltrane Thanks For The Memories Dr Samuel Johnson In Blackadder The Third. Fitz In Cracker, Zukovsky In Goldeneye & The World Is Not Enough & Of Course Hagrid In The Harry Potter Film Series
I've tried relentlessly to find the Robbie Coltrane advert from the 1980's TV archives where the big man does an Inter city or BR cameo ! At the end of the ad someone shouts in jest ' what a tube ' and the look on Robbie's boat is an absolute riot ! Can anyone help me find it or what the advert was called ? It is brilliant ! He wears an Andy cap bunnet in it also ! Ta much .
@@vhsvideovault Great, he says in part 2 that next year he was doing nuns on the run which i think aired in 1990, but they could have filmed it in 1989 which would make it 88. Thanks
lol , where on the hell on earth did you acquire this dubious snippet of information ? most actors detest TV faff , I believe he is very nervous, these TV interviews are contracted in with a film deals, i would take a punt and say hes promoting nuns on the run and he is possibly high on something and has sunk a few bevvies
jesus, those titles are crap, even for ITV in the 80s! if it had been Parky's actual signature, then fair enough - but somebody wrote it with a marker pen and 'that'll do!'
