Robbie Williams is literally a character you would read in a book or watch on a movie. It's almost hard to believe he is real, he is such a character. Everything about him oozes entertainment. Love this man.

Drummer is killing it.. very rarely in these types of bands do you see the rythm section getting the props it deserves and that guy is driving the tune. Awesome job. I'm a metal guy and even I can appreciate the talent that Williams has. Always surprised me that they knocked him for his voice or appearance... like anyone really cares about living up to a cheesy boy band. This guy is a real artist with his own personality, not some cut out spikey hair boy dork.

I was here for this and there was a definite lull before rob came on,soon as he struck up everyone got off there asses and bounced.......I’m no huge Robbie fan but he’s definitely the best performer/entertainer of the last 20 yrs in the uk

This was the first time I ever saw Robbie Williams. This was the best performance of the day, rocking it the way Queen rocked Live Aid. And he knows it, starting off with a Queen song. He showed himself Freddie's heir (he owned that stage) and made me a fan. I never tire of watching this.

Crap. Queen's performance at Live Aid was voted The Best Live Performance Ever in 2005 by the industry. Williams was nowhere near giving that kind of performance by Queen/Mercury.

Are you from North America? Robbie was never huge in the USA & Canada the way he was in the UK and Europe. Kinda along the same lines as Kylie Minogue. That could be why you're not overly familiar with his work. 🤷‍♀️

@@SoulShines4U Thankfully Robbie did try to crack the American Market 20 years ago with his album The Ego has Landed and I've liked him every since. A really good comparison that comes to mind is Cliff Richard, Cliff has been absolutely huge for generations around the world but is probably even less known than Robbie in the States.

@@Pitt-ny8cj - Yeah I know both Robbie Williams & Kylie Minogue have tried many, *many* times to crack the NA market. I'm Canadian and know who they are and actually really love a lot of Robbie's music, going back to his work with Take That. I'm not that big on Kylie unfortunately but I know I'm in the minority there, certainly outside NA anyways. lol As for Cliff Richards yes I know who he is but I've never been a fan. I do know that he's the UK's answer to Barry Manilow tho. 😉 lol

Could just be that there isn’t proper mics for the crowd but feel like they’re just 10% shy of where they should be. He’s working so damn hard, and he’s NEARRRRLY blowing the place up! Feels like the fire never quite 100% catches and it’s shame because his energy absolutely deserved a proper explosion
