@@S3BASTIAN05 pls explain how freddy starts his shows of more fun. I'm a queen fan and don't agree. I was at this show. The place had fun and went mad. Just appreciate talent instead of knocking it.
@@S3BASTIAN05 sorry, but they were just a Monty Python wannabes. They weren't funny, and the crowd didn't give any real reaction until Queen came on stage. I'll take the Robbie Williams opening any day.
@@emilfleischermichaelsen5405 his cocaine addiction was so bad that he overdosed and he had to be resuscitated when he was living in LA. two of the most important people in his life were his mother and Elton John. much later his wife, AYDA.
I'll never forget this concert I was there with my husband, he bought tickets for my 40th, there were over a 125,000 people attended that concert, it was blisteringly hot even at 7.30pm, no trouble just pure electricity. It was worth spending 4 hours trying to exit the field car parking at the end. I doubt Robbie will ever top this concert, it was pure magic.
Was there too! Incredible experience. Unfortunately I got heat stroke and on returning deep into the crowd had a panic attack- the first in my life! So we were way way back which was still electric as from our view point we could see 120000 fans loving it. Would have been great to be much closer but decided our buzz was big enough being there! We then walked to the nearby pub where we had booked a b&b room. We couldnt sleep though! We were absolutely buzzing from an incredible day ❤❤
Me too, you would have not known about the self doubt he had watching him, interesting when he said he wants to write Karma Police, but hes writing Karma Chameleon 🙂
@@mad-geelong-supporter4389no one is as big as Robbie was at his peak these days. Biggest Artists these days (seem to be) are; Harry Styles, Taylor Swift both of which are considred to be "Pop" Artists As Robbie was able to command a stage and was once considred to be as big as Freddie was. Harry and Taylor as well as most artists these days would not be able to command a stage or an audience of this size (150k) For comparison the O2 Academy in London is 50k and the SSE Hydro is Glasgow is 10k.
I can't imagine the feeling of flying over a crowd of 125,000 people in a helicopter all here to see you perform and then to land and come out onto stage infront of them all screaming for you, singing your songs with you. Fucking hell
Came back to this after seeing him at Sandringham last weekend. 20 years on and he’s still got it. There’s nobody out there even comes remotely close to Rob
“Robbie took to the stage at Knebworth on 1st, 2nd and 3rd August 2003, drawing crowds of 375,000 over the three days and attracting a further 3.5 million viewers at home, not to mention setting a new record for the biggest concert in UK history"
The man, the myth - Robbie Williams. I quit alcohol and cocaine at the beginning of the year but this is one guy I'd relapse for. Stay strong brother 🤙🏻🤛🏻
I saw the indoor version of this concert. When it started I just stood there in silence smiling for like 15 min. Overwhelmed but so so happy! It was one of the highs of my life. The energy was through the roof. I watch it often. :)
As an American I never dreamed of ever seeing him live. We were just in Barcelona and were able to get tickets to his first of 2 nights there. WOW!!! What energy, excitement and control of the crowd. My husband who only knows of him through X Factor was blown away. Headed straight to the airport and ended out week long trip on a high note!
I will never forget when he came out wed waited for for what felt like an eternity but was well worth the wait was just a fantastic day stayed dry which was good. Ha.
Went all three nights. The queuing to get in. Sun stroke on the Saturday and Sunday being able to get out of the car park only took a hour rather than the 6 on the Saturday night. Was right down the front each night. It was a absolutely amazing concert. Robbie at his best and will never forget it
I HAD THE DVD LOVE ANGELS AT THIS GIG BEST VERSION AND WHEN HE ASKS EVERYONE TO GET THERE CAMERA OUT THEN HE TAKES A PIC THAT AMOUNT OF CAMARA'S TAKING PICS SHOULD BE IN THE GUINNESS BOOK OFF RECORDS HOW OLD SCHOOL WAS HE WIND THEM ALL ON HAD TO BE A PISS TAKE THO AS WE WENT DIGITAL BY THEN LOL
For me this is the best and most thrilling concert opening in the history of music. More emotion and celebration from first second has never been reached again!
I was totally in love with Robbie and saw TT and him solo 5 times in the uk. My boss got VIP tickets and wasn’t going to go, in Murrayfield Edinburgh. But he went and said the best live performance he’d ever seen. Robbie is in world history for ticket sales, audience attendance etc. If you hate him, no problem, but he’s an absolute legend. Performance 10/10 ❤️❤️
Why would people hate him? Disliking his music and/or onstage persona I can understand. After all to each his/her own of course. But actually hate him? I think that says more about the hater, than the artist! 😎👍🏻🍻🙏🏻🤓😁👋🏻🥳🥳😊😋
When I was about 13 we had a some speaker guy come to our school and talk about self confidence and believing in yourself. His example was Robbie. Does he walk about all awkward and weird and hardly says a word. Nope he does this...I still remember that 20 years later...
This was one of my Desert Island Discs when in therapy a couple of years ago, and still makes me cry to watch him having come out the other side of such a dark place. Luv him
Todays music industry: Go back to this very moment and reconsider. It still gave me goosebumps He is an Elvis fan no doubt!.. great crowd. August 3rd 2003 I was there, will never see a concert again like this! RW at his absolute best

@@sossageking6298 It used to be, Brit in Canada now after daddy dragged us away. Nice place to visit now. But still getting ripped out your camper van at the age of 4 by the army for being in the wrong place at the wrong time when dad was a RAE Engineer. He pulled us out. The Government still screamed bloody murder for him leaving (It took 8 years to get the OK from those snot nosed bastards) and up until he hit retirement age they sent him a letter every fucking year reminding him they could pull the whole family back at anytime. Fuck them. Still miss decent black pud.

I was there. I came all the way from land down under AUS. I will always cherish that moment. I was right next to the stage. It was just breath taking, the whole concert.
I get goosebumps listening to this music. One of the best British songs of all time. I remember him performing this song at Hyde park concert in 2005 but nothing in crowd size compared to the one at Knebworth.
