which direction is the house that frank and marie live in? Sometimes they come in the front door, sometimes they come in the back door. Ray just pointed at the backdoor when he said "it doesn't matter what they think over there"!!!! Very confusing because I thought the parents lived across the street from Ray and Debra.
Robert was still traumatized from his divorce, and wasn't ready for a commitment. Hell, even Ray tried to tell the family that, but they either ignored him or believed Robert was gay.
“… I wonder if Robert was lonely, but liked living on his own. Just enjoyed the women's company.” Maybe every guy secretly wishes he lived in a cabin out in the forest, by a stream. Alone, but possibly not lonely. Then a fine woman comes into his life with a lasagna, sets the table, has dinner with him, does the dishes, and then leaves so he can go back to his fishing. Naw, that can’t be… I think you just described every guy out there.
27:38 Stefania said that she loves Robert Barone very much, and Amy loves Robert Barone very much. They do it so well that his police officer coworker Judy was jealous.
Lol, please. Marie is one of the main reasons Robert had problems in the first place. Hell, Ray, too. With Robert, she rarely shows love and respect, which had him so unsure about how to be in a committed relationship. With Ray, she was overly affectionate to the point of smothering. Ray even admitted in therapy that he wanted to have a wife who was just like her.
9:41 This is episode when Robert Barone moved from his parents to having his own apartment, and the way he avoids loneliness, and feeling sad, hopeless, down, angry and anxious. He has Amy come over to be his girlfriend to go out dating.
0:03 This is the episode "Robert's Divorce" back on Everybody Loves Raymond. This is the flashback of the time when Debra Barone was young, Raymond Barone was a young boy, and Robert Barone was young. Also, this was the time when JoAnne divorced her husband Robert Barone since they got married so early.
28:13 This looks like that Marie Barone and her son Robert Barone, his police officer coworker Judy, Stefania the girl he met during the vacation in Italy and his girlfriend Amy are at the therapist.
I always thought the actress that played her was attractive in a girl next door kind of way, and typical of the era, all the actresses in sitcoms were in great shape. Which is funny, because a lot of the male actors were pudgy and dumpy. Go figure.
28:29 If I were Robert, I would get myself another patrol partner. Where does Judy get the nerve to put herself with the other women questioning his situation regarding his dating failures?
25:26 This was the episode of the time when Robert Barone doesn't want to date with his girlfriend Amy, be his girlfriend and feel like breaking up with his girlfriend Amy and wants to be gay instead.
I can't understand how Marie could sit there and let those women say those things about her son.She sure wouldn't let them anyone talk about Ray like that. 1:18
27:28 Robert Barone cannot have two girlfriends such as Stefania and Amy, and Robert Barone should have one girlfriend at a time such as Stefania and Amy.
39:50 This was the episode since Robert Barone broke up his girlfriend Amy, and JoAnne divorced his husband Robert Barone, he first has a new girlfriend name Natasha
The women I dated I have commented on how I wore women’s leather pants, a leopard blouse, Prada boots and a leopard trench coat with makeup, mascara and eye liner on the first date. They said they I looked pretty but that I should be on a date with someone else
@@oldgordo61 I was watching this show in my late 20's and thinking I'd kill for an "Amy". Girl next door looks. In good shape. Loving and loyal. Like hitting the lottery.
debra is saying what a large percentage of western women need to hear since they friendzone anyman who is not a triple six because they dont want to "settle" and than complain about being single and not finding a man, and by triple six i mean six inches, six feet and six figures
this is how it starts: we grow up as children watching men get de-masculinized, yelled at, and hit by women and then wonder how all the modern grown men are so soft. I wonder....what could they have been watching as kids to make them like this? Shows like this. Even as a kid, I never liked shows like this because i tried to put myself in the shoes of the characters....and the least comfortable characters were always the men. The men never won. The men were always laughed at. So stopped watching. I dont want to be laughed at. I dont want to be a loser. BUT....if parents dont limit their kids input, you get broken adults. This show is fine if you're an adult, b/c you can differentiate reality from entertainment. Kids, on the other hand, are looking everywhere for guidance and clues on how to grow up. They might grow up to be a punchline.
