People have and can replicate BB, Clapton , Beck , SRV and all of those greats but I am yet to find someone who can replicate Cray.

In my opinion the finest modern day /soul/bluesman by far. Robert Cray tells our stories from the heart, with Passion, fire, spontaneity and understatement, he has it all and this is pure class from the best of the best.

In the late 1970s, The Robert Cray Band swept down through Chico once a year, for several years, on their West Coast tours. They played a small local club called "Cabos". An excellent harmonica player named Curtis Salgado was playing with them at the time. He really rounded out what was already a exceptional blues band. Those were special nights - small venue and a great band. And Robert Cray's playing style made it unique and powerful and memorable.

Class; that's what Mr.Cray is all about; to my ears Blues can also be boring and repetitive, but when the stuff is right is pure bliss. Hats off...

A fine song, so much can be said about Robert's expertise, the band's integral influences, that applies but his voice comes from him. inside of him. Identifying as a man among men who feel deeply moved to communicate what that really means.

I heard it said once about Robert Cray that he never wastes a single note when he is playing. Truer words were never spoken. One of my all time favorites.

Robert Cray, back in 90's I had the radio on and I heard smoking gun and strong persuader. After hearing those songs I had to go out and buy everything Robert sang or played on. The music and lyrics were something I needed so much.

I just saw him live 1 hour ago!!! He is amazing!!! This song was live even better!!!!
