I'm strongly presuming it's because of his upcoming movie "The Irishman". We,his fans, have been begging for this film to happen ever since the idea of its possibility began floating around. Now that it's happening,he's been putting all his time and effort to bring this to us. The principal photography lasted like 4-5 months, the longest Scorsese has ever endure filming on a single project. Plus it's his most expensive film to date. Probably over $150 million due to the casting,de-aging special effects, and time/resources acquired to getting it done. It's the biggest gamble of his career. This probably took a big toll on him getting it made. And it's mostly because of us who so badly wanted to see a Scorsese film starting De Niro,Pacino,Peci, and Keitel together.
I can't believe Marty is almost eighty years old. If you close your eyes, you'd think he was still fresh out of NYU. Sharp as a two dollar tack. Makes me sad in a way.
I'm not getting carried away with it. I remember I couldn't wait for "Righteous Kill" to come out and it's probably the most disappointing movie I've ever seen.
With all due respect do you mean listen to Martin Scorsese speak for hours? I think out of 16 1/2 minute video Deniro spoke for like a minute at most and had nothing interesting to say at all. The guy just has 0 character without a script in his hands. And I am tired of people giving him a pass saying he is just too shy in interviews. Shy people once in a while have something interesting to say too. I never heard him say anything that is truly funny, interesting or has any substance at all. And spare me with his "kindergarten like" takes on politics.
Both have Pisces moon though giving them vivid imaginations and creative abilities. A lot of the best filmmakers are water signs: Scorsese, Kubrick, Altman, Paul Thomas Anderson, Cronenberg.
Who’s Martin Scorsese’s favorite actor, might you wonder? Well, here he is. ROBERT DE NIRO. Also the one who has played in the most Scorsese’s projects. Since 1973, they have made 10 feature films and 1 short together. The actor’s career has lasted about the same amount of time as the director’s. Both started in the ‘60s. No wonder since the two icons are about the same age : Scorsese was born in 1942, and De Niro, in 1943… And neither of them is done yet❗️ 💙🎬💚
@@spb7883 Have you seen The Departed? Wolf of Wall Street? The Aviator? They might not be Raging Bull or Goodfellas but these movies are also fantastic. Beardless Marty is still great lol
Appropriate that Deniro is seated with the one who made him great. Dinero is like Pacino; crap actors who manage to emote when directed well. I hear Pacino is a decent guy, Deniro is garbage.
Despicable DeNiro.....intense guilt associated with a lifetime of being paid 300 times more than he is worth has moved him (and others in the same boat) to the far left. He has become a kook.
