it was 1984, we were in New York for the first time ever from England... went down to the waterside by the Peking ship and there on the deck were a couple of chairs and some lights, on the chairs it said M. Streep, R. deNiro, we had missed them as they had gone to lunch...,heartbroken, that evening we were taken to China town for dinner, there were trucks lining the street with cables running everywhere... we came to a corner and there 6 feet away was Miss Streep and Mr de Niro waiting to film the scene at 1.05 to 1.13 on this clip..! I have always loved NYC since that time.
I love this most romantic 🎥🍿🎥🍿🎥 movie!!!! I watch it all the time ❤️❤️❤️... It remind's me of first falling in love🌹🌹🌹.... They were great together!!! 🥀🥀🥀🥀...
I never tire of watching this movie. I’m thinking of how a sequel would be after all these years have gone by, using flashbacks. One of my Top Ten movies. Another one of my Top Ten is “An Affair to Remember.” If you haven’t seen it, do so. Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr. You won’t be disappointed.
Yes, I love all those movies too. And "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" and "Breezy", both with William Holden. If you love a good love story with a beautiful romantic soundtrack you will love these.
It proves that Robert de niro was smoking hot... This is the first time I've seen him look nervous on screen though. . ... guess when ur acting with Meryl Streep... it happens...
The legendary Chinatown Fair in NYC. Been around since the 70's and still open till this day. Changed ownership between 2011 and 2013 if I remember correctly.
Love this movie and I think the scene with the tic tac toe chicken was at the old Chinatown Fair Arcade on Mott st. Those sound effects are from the game ‘Pole Position’
Loved this movie when I saw it in the mid 80's. I worked in the city and since it was filmed in NYC I thought the movie was so cool! Wanted them to unite even though they had separate lives/marriages before meeting in the bookstore on 57th street...Rivoli's?
I was youtubing with my girlfriend at her mom's place and suddenly, her mom sends us a link to this video from the other room. We watch it and when the scene with the chicken came on, my girlfriend was livid. She nearly kicked down the doors to den, furious that her mom had sent her a video showing a bird that was forced to live in a confined space and play tic tac toe with strangers, all the while as her mom is dying of laughter at her. It is kinda cruel and sad when you think about it.. It took a while to calm her down:(
Antes Robert De Niro era un bombonazo. Había otra peli mas vieja en la que también se enamoraban. No me acuerdo como se llamaba. Meryl Streep tenía el pelo largo y le quedaba muy lindo
Wow Meryl streep, you are on fire with theses folms, I am your most biggest fan in the whole world!!!!! When I am older I want tomeet you I'm real life and may be like you, your the greatest actress in the universe, yiudo know that, don't you??? I LOVE YOU MERYL STREEP!!!!
When they did the scene where she says to him, so what do you want to know about me and he says, how much do you weigh? She should have adlibed immediately and said well, my weight is about...... 3 cows, 2 pigs and a rooster. Saying that just to see his reaction. I bet he would have laughed. Why, because it wasn't part of the script in the movie. Just to get a laugh from him. It would have been funny! Because it's weird that a guy would ask you how much you weigh.
