in fact this is after the album No Pussyfooting, first work of fripp and eno, the rest as they say is history. Its a mazing to realize that the best musicians, only work with another that are at the same level, thats why they usually work with same people, fripp, eno, levin, bruford, wilson, byrne, summers, manzanera, and a few more; theyre always together
From the title, and the emotions bubbling, I get the impression of lots of people coming to the cathedral, making sacrifices in their schedules and lives, crying endlessly over the love and salvation that never comes; a cathedral full of tearing disciples...
And as I stood at the door, wondering whether or not I should enter, something tugged me gently backward. An invisible hand sparing me early reprisal. A stay of glory. Yet.
juan carlos lira Thanks Juan. Thats really nice of you to say that. Although what you wrote is understandable in accompaniment of this, or to accompany this, are two better ways to say what you did. English is difficult even for English speaking people.
After I lost my copy of this album I tracked down a replacement on ebay for just this one track (it's out of stock on Fripp's own store)...a great track that always makes me choke up
LOVE KING CRIMSON . But Robert Fripps work outside Of Crimson. There are some of his very best work. Blessings of Tears is so beautiful. For his Mom who passed. Gates of Paridise is another great one. Radiophics. Which Passes complete that period. Soundscapes is post Fippertronics. Love all this stuff. Layers of Sound that the Master Painter brushes us Vertically. Robert Fripp. There's really no one like him.
Nata Rygakova Да. Фрипп и его группа в ином измерении музыкальной мысли. И на сколько же это безконечно далеко от всякого рода шоу и сбора бонусов... Фрипп и KCr просто художники.
@ahitler1000 I belive that this music (all music in fact) is to share, not to belive that im better to listen to it, in fact its a shame that more people doesnt even know about it, thas the main reason i uploaded it. For people who doesnt know it, to have the chance of appreciate as it is, best regards
haha... great to hear a conversation about taste between two guys who's user names are 'a hitler 1000' and 'new fucking wave' respectively.. enough said i think..
why is t-pac in the suggestions , ? I absolutely refuse to listen to hip hop , dip ship garbage , Im not a sell out, or a poser , Im up to my armpits in poser losers , check my playlist to see what I listen too, music for a college educated artist, . . .
I did hear some early stuff when he was with Geils, Geils, and Fripp. He was playing stuff that sounded like Bach! What the hell happened?? I know the man can play now but, why not like the stuff he was ripping up in the beginning of his career? I don't get his reasoning?
He just evolved, at that time he was influence by classical and sinphonical perspectives, when Lake leaves crimson, he start with somethiong else; try Crimson's last record "Power to Belive" one of the greatest recorders ever made, and totally different as usual, best regards
