New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft told CNN that he wants Tom Brady to sign a one-day contract and officially retire as a Patriot. Brady announced his retirement from the NFL after 23 seasons on February 1st. #CNN #News
The number one reason why the Patriots had two solid decades of excellence was because of that man there. Mr Rob Kraft. Hands down, one of the greatest franchise owners in the history of the NFL.
Thank you Tom Brady as a patriot fan I respect and admire what you did for pats nation I pray you retire as a patriots and don't be shy to get a parade there thank you Sir 12
Agree TB12 one of the top 3 QBs in NE ever! Likely better than Tony Eason but almost as good as Steve Grogan. My dad is 60 so I hope he gets to see TB12 in the HOF in the next 20yrs. I told my dad he should be able squeak in one of these days.
Agreed. I am a Packer fan and would have hoped that Favre retired as a Packer... until he left the Jets and signed with the Vikings that was rough. Still, would have welcomed him, those these days, given the news, I would just as soon he fade away.
Should have never let Tom go in the first place... He should have given Tom anything he wanted to stay and play with the Patriot's until Tom finally wanted to retire...
As a fan of the bucs since 1976. Thanks brady for the super bowl win 🏆. But if you sign a 1 day contract with the Patriots. Thats fine with me.good luck Tom.
@42nd Street yeah, ok, played twenty years for the New England Patriots, sorry to rain on your parade Charlie, but he's coming home and retiring as a Patriot
@@zacchwinfrey4046 no Zach, he retired from the NFL, he's in talks with Bob Kraft as we speak about signing a one day contract to retire as a New England Patriot
Is it me or didn't it seem that Don Lemon calling Mr. Kraft, Bob , seem a little too personal! I don't think Mr. Kraft considers Don lemon on his same level!
As a kid, growing up in the 70's, always being picked on by my family about how bad the Patriots were... Brady and the players that followed; put a grin on my face every time we made it to the Superbowl. GOAT!!! Redemption!!! 👍👍👍
Now the Anglo-Saxons will start playing their game, they will make every effort to make a truce! A truce in Ukraine to relocate the AFU troops and bring weapons. And with the onset of heat, launch an attack! That's all you need to know and under no circumstances allow a truce! Putin does not need to take the pipes from Western presidents and America, and that's where Westerners will understand why diplomats are needed! If there is a truce, the Russian Army will be disappointed in the President!/
It's time. The man is 45 years old. He went from a nobody that anyone thought much of to probably one of the greats ever. He is on top of that mountain. And the older we get the more likely to get severely injured. He has nothing left to prove.
Well, its pretty obvious who should get more credit for the patriots success, Brady made it to the playoffs 3 years in a row and won a super bowl with another team, while Belichick never accomplished jack without Brady 😁
I really don't watch sports at all. But when I lived in Wisconsin 10 years, it was the era of Favre. Then I moved here, and it was the era of Brady. So I recognize how important he is to the area
Mr. Kraft, I think it would be the ultimate expression of respect and gratitude to gift Tom with a lifetime supply of Velveeta at no charge. I know it's the best gift I could ever receive.
@@fredthompson1674 Thanks for straightening me out on that one. I would have sworn I'd heard media references to him being part of the family that founded Kraft Foods, but you're correct - no connection at all. The problem may be that I have consumed too much Velveeta and other delicious poisonous foods manufactured by Kraft over my long life, including grilled cheese sandwiches. All that saturated fat may have clogged my brain.
BUT he didn't retire a patriot, he retired a bucs , you kno the team that took him because bellichick got rid of brady, he can't retire again , I t will ruin his bran ,,
That guy called Tom Brady changed the real estate and businesses for the state of Massachusetts and particularly Foxboro forever. Am living witness live there for 12 years straight
As an MSU fan who is almost legally obligated to hate UM, I agree with Kraft. I used to watch those games and be glad that Coach Carr was not utilizing Brady's talent nearly as much as he should have. Still, I have to say, I figured his future in the NFL was to be a decent journeyman QB - I never expected him to be anywhere near as good as he was.
As Bucs a Fan, I hope he retires as a Patriot. We Bucs fans are just happy that he, like many, decided to retire in Florida. In doing so gave us our 2nd SB Championship.
If I’m Tom Brady I’d tell Robert Kraft I’ll retire as a patriot for 100 mil for one season you know the money he will make off Brady returning alone he’ll make that back ten fold in merch and season ticket sales 🤨
@Lemo Nayd Media I lived in Wisconsin for half of the 80s and the 90s. That was the era of Brett Favre. When I moved here, I thought I would be getting away from the football craze, and that's when Tom Brady started
With all due respect, in reality the Patriots didn't want him 3 years ago when they let him go as a FREE Agent so why should he come back now? He should retire with the team he was with at the time. Rob (aka GRONK) did !!! Just a thought. ***Brady wanted a long-term contract. The Patriots didn't want to give him one. The main reason Brady left the Patriots is because the two sides couldn't agree on a multi-year contract that would allow Brady to retire with the organization.***
We love you Tommy! Sorry for everything the ex put you through this year. You have meant so much to a generation and then some😂Look forward to seeing and hearing from you in the booth! Tommy forever!!!!!!!!💯♾🐐
So true, TB12 was a pretty good one. Another year he might of caught the Steve Grogan as the greatest NE QB ever. Is he in the NE Big 5 and who gets kicked out if TB1 is in ( Andre Tippett, Bruce Armstrong, John Hannah, Stanley the Steamer Morgan)? It's debatable.
@@alexanderb4165 agree, TB12 likely belongs in the NE Patriots Big 5. 1. John Hannah 2. Stanley Morgan 3. Andre Tippett and TB12 (tie) 4. Bruce Armstrong
I love Tom Brady, the best to ever play the game from Alabama. I watched you for 23 great years. You have always been my favorite. I was watching when Bledsoe got hurt.
Good morning. I had the distinction of watching Mr. Brady plays. He is a master of his craft. He is an architect. He is a quick thinker. He is quick off his feet back in his hay day like all of us who have engaged and participated in sports at a high level. My only hope is that one day he will be reunited with his beautiful family. Best of wishes Mr. Brady. Thank you for what you have done. Best of success in all your endeavors.
I want him to go out as a champion his career has been too special for him to go out like this... He’s got one more.. The stuff with his wife definitely affected him on the field...Divorce is rough especially when you have kids involved.. He’s had a lot on his shoulders..
Brady is going back to foxboro and he is gonna get a michael jordan like ovation when jordan came bk to the united center ... i was there and we stood and yelled for MJ 10mi. straight and only quit cuz he made us finally!

"Sports are a crucial example of the indoctrination system, in my view, because it offers people something to pay attention to that's of no importance; that keeps them from learning about things that matter to their lives." - Noam Chomsky
It's not really indoctrination. Human males are genetically wired for aggression so they need outlets in the form of violent, and blood sports to satisfy their homicidal tendencies.
As if sports can't matter to one's life? I respect Mr. Chomsky, but sports are important in society and are apart of human nature, there is a reason that every society throughout history has developed sports.
This is why Chomski is an asshole, he is not interested in something for its own sake, so he therefore thinks its purpose is to serve his conspiracy theory.
Tb12 tha king 👑 of football 🏈 no one will eva com close to brady level and goddammit there r a bunch of great super stars ✨ to eva play brady game of Football 🏈 but tb12 took tha sport he luv to a totally new level no one but only emself expected to do tb12 is tha greatest football 🏈 player eva he believe in emself his team and his fans ill neva 4get to say brady is tha best comeback player eva and neva bet against brady he won me my very first bet eva congrats 🎊 in honor of tb12 tha greatest champion eva u deserve it u deserve it u deserve it salute tb12
Calling him Bob is a lack of respect . His name is Robert. I taught it was very unprofessional on his part to say . I was taught to respect people who are older then you
Wow, some of these questions were terrible. Should he have played last season? Who was more responsible for the Super Bowls? Tom and Bill are like Krafts sons and Bill is still the head coach and you actually asked that question 😂 CNN never ceases to amaze me at the “talent” they pick from colleges
