I was listening to the preaching from the Bible everything else I tuned out...the worship I loved kept me in sync with the holy spirit I learned to love people b obedient & share the good news..I will trust my God for answers by grace thru faith ! I will also pray 🙏 for the angry people on here.
We watched him on TV a lot. He did not speak a prosperity gospel. He had great sermons that were helpful. He talked many times about sexual sin and about his own sexual sin. I believe he was repentant. God used Paul who murdered Christians. God is merciful and forgiving. God has used people throughout the Bible that “the church” would not use.

Yes, he did not repent. He admitted to an affair with a "young lady", but not that she was twelve. He also tried to silence her and refused to pay reparation. It's obvious he just said whatever would keep him in ministry and rolling in money for as long as possible. He also lied about what Cindy's father said, which was that he should never preach again. But the church only banned him from children's ministry. There's much more. But he is not repented.

He is not saying this, he is deeply repentant,, he went through repentance and restoration for a period of time with church leaders that saw fit that he was genuine. We all, including Morris, have a God-give free will to choose what we do. Whether we obey or disobey God is up to us and choosing to go to God for the strength and wisdom we need to obey Him. God says He would never tempt us more than we can bear (with His help), but would make a way of escape (through His word and prayer with Him). We are all accountable for our choices, sin and crimes. Even Morris.

I think charismatics need to start making videos on cessationist errors too. The Old Testament is where ee find tithing, though it's usually not money. In the Old Testament they also had stoning for adultery which is what he originally admitted to. Finally he got outed and it was child molestation, not an affair.
