So am I, absolutely !And thankful to the people sharing. But understandably Zep fans are focusing on Robert Plant and being more of an AK fan I'd rather see more focus on AK. ;) Especially for instance during a nice bit of fiddling!
I love Zeppelin, but I get why Robert is done with it. He has been involved in so much, written so much, truly a talent that transcends so many genres. God bless you Robert, do what your heart tells you, we both know you will be playing again with Page in the future, until then, rock on as you please, you;ve earned it.
@dhbiza My point is they're all still alive now. So why don't they do it this year? Page sure as Hell isn't doing anything and Jones is just producing records. And what did you expect Plant to do? After all, he and Krause did manage to win a few Grammies together, didn't they? The royaltys from that album plus the concert ticket sales was money in his pocket. He's touring this year with his Band of Joy band. Obviously he's not interested right now, Don't blame Krause for that.
Now where did he get those boots?? a friend of mine had a pair just like that in 1982 and i remember he said they where *texas edition* meaning they were just made for texas.....mmmmmmmmm maybe i should pay more atention to the girl, she looks hot!!! :)
yeah okay the music must go on. Still Robert looks funny in jeans while there is a violin base player in a suit behind him and 3 country western hicks to his right. I just gotta get used to it I guess. I think he still could do a Zep reuinion and do this too though. Why not? He knows the world is waiting. I think he's being a bit selfish to insist on pushing just his own agenda even though I guess that is his right...
@popoaggie unfortunately you are wrong. Page and Jones were willing to do a show in the US but Plant couldn't because of this wench. Look it up b4 you post. The other 2 (actually 3 if you include Jason Bonham) were willing.
Welll, I blame this girl for no more Led Zeppelin reunions...Plant didnt do any reunions because of his "commitment to Allison Krauss". Wow. Like 50 years from now everybody is going to be saying Allison who? Way to go Allison. If she was as classy as everybody here thinks she would have said "No,. go do a couple of shows, we can always tour later".
Don't be a d!ck ! She's an angelic talent and Robert is blessed to be able to unite with her. Zep is done - they all 3 consistently say so. It can never be again because it was the creative input of all 4 of them - and now 1/4 of that is forever gone. Right call. Personally I enjoyed the Plant Page Unledded stuff ever bit as much or more with it's middle eastern and world fusion influences. The best concert I have ever seen - right up there with Chris Isaak. I would love to see anything by Alison and Robert - they are a true gift.
