@@HolidayArt hey man. Alls I know is nothing. 2 plus 3 is 5 and diving seagulls are the reason for the cigarettes to be shitty. If they have an operating policy that they can define then who am I to judge that. That's my thoughts on the fact.
Love Led Zeppelin . 1971-73? Vancouver coliseum. Robert, upon walking to stage .. Saw my hand held out across fence/ barrier. Walked right up & held my hand...about 4 seconds. Always 🙏🌈🦋💜
@@allipat401scared of a gay person? probably not. lol! remember the actual meaning of the words you try to press on to others. you look stupid when you do it.
Plant was one of the most confident performers on stage ever. Freddie may have had the best upbeat confidence in his stage performance, but Plant had the most relaxed, cool, confidence on stage
@wmauibill There is an argument to be made for Elvis as well, but Jimmy just has this entirely different form of confidence. Just look at Stairway Live or something
LOL..Robert plant never said that. He didnt even know Ann was going to sing that song that evening. None of them did. He started crying watching jason Bonham playing with them. The whole performance was a surprise.
Hey guys, just to clear up the confusion, Led Zeppelin wrote "Dream on" in 1965 after they wrote "That'll be the day" both songs were on their album "Let it be"
@@Rick-or2kq I NEVER thought that! I knew that there was NO OTHER. LED ZEP RULES!!! And Steven Tyler has nothing on Robert Plant. There is no comparing the two, imo.
@@joankuehn4479 I’m 72 now, fell for Robert when I was but 18, had just gotten married and started my now 53 year old habit of smoking weed. Gotta say Plant was the hottest front man EVER and it was very easy to see which way he ‘dressed’ himself with his skin tight hip hugger jeans. You could see the very veins in his manhood from where I sat that night long ago - in Atlanta, GA at the stadium. Back then there was stadium seating so the earlier you got there, the better your seat was. We were about 4-5 hours early so we were close to the stage. I was very stoned and couldn’t believe that Led Fucking Zeppelin was onstage in front of me. It was a life changing experience to see them live. There were many other concerts thru the years but none of them topped that night in Atlanta. Even now when I hear “Since I’ve Been Loving You” I get chills down my spine, but that happens with a lot of their songs. Great singer, I think the best of all of them and the four men at the very top of their game - it was an experience that not a lot of folks got to see, at least I’ve only found a few still remaining - maybe they’ve passed in as I’m now preparing to do myself.
True legend .. whenever or wherever I am & I hear any led zeppelin song it always takes me back & it is such a great time .. good memories classic legend!
@@thomasbrady8056 well what can he say? He's blessed in the pecker department & he's the front man for the legendary Led Zeppelin.... how blessed indeed!
He had the Sun conjunct Pluto in the sign of the Lion. In fact it was all the rock n rollers born in the 40s when Pluto was in Leo. Pluto = Generations, Leo= Long hair When the Pluto in Virgo came along Long Hair and extroversion made way for introverted themes and cropped, shorter hair= punk music
Omg. Funniest comment ever. Who could EVER miss Plant's package? I was late 80's 16-17 when I discovered them. They were my siblings generation. But I'm from the Deep South and their Mississippi Delta sound hit me hard. My kids don't know a world without them. They are very well educated millennials and gen z When it comes to,Zeppelin. I used to quiz them on Zeppelin stuff as we drove or ran errands. I taught them to identify guitarist or rhythm sections like Van Halen or Black Sabbath by sound. But page? Plant? Bonham? John Paul Jones? Incredible musical talent. Inspiring truly to any art form. They thank me now because they know things like Page played on Yardbirds songs, he was a studio musician. 'Hammer of the Gods' was my Bible in high school. Zeppelin has influenced my life.
I saw this band in Denver Colorado in the 70s & I still remember the music & light show unlike anything I have ever seen. Pure magic! Thank you for the beautiful memories!!
He takes himself SUPER seriously and is an arrogant dick in public. He told the guys from How to do Everything they were dumb and looked them in the eyes and said "your tweedledee and your tweedle dumb."
@@Johnnyrocks34 The interviewer might have ticked him off and Plant was reacting to someone who acted like Zeppelin was old news, as if it was just a job assignment that he had to do but wasn't happy about.
@@lynnegoesup absolutely not. It was few yrs ago. Howard stern. He kisses ass of celebrities now and was kissing his ass the entire interview. He just came off like snobby jerk. Go listen to it. Unless ur just such huge fan you ll never believe it. Which I understand. I used to be like that w roger waters but he s just such a jerk
Ok... feeling quite ignorant but I don't get the joke try dressing to the right is that what he said and is there a special meaning or did I get it all wrong
1977 they were playing acoustic sets over 30 minutes long. I had tears in my eyes. I was barely 14 years old. The coolest thing I ever saw. Music was a little different than the way it was brought to you not the same as it is today so many good bands we’re out at this time just having the best time in music I cannot explain it what a beautiful time to grow up.
the industry ruined music ironically. used to be powerfully moving. watch the video of heart covering led zep it's impressive, just to take that on is impressive
I met him in New Mexico at a Hyatt I worked at. He was on a road trip visiting Indian reservations and I saw him pull up and I lost it. He was very nice but the young lady in his passengers seat whose door I neglected to open first didn't look to happy🤣
I saw plant play at RED ROCKS because a friend said we got to see him because he might not be around much longer, that was 35 years ago,my friend is gone, the girl I took is gone also and ROBERT PLANT IS STILL GOING STRONG!!!GOES TO SHOW YOU,THAT YOU NEVER KNOW! 😒
I was there too. My big sister took me. She got to go back stage and briefly met/spoke to Robert plant and an autographed her tshirt. I was too young to go back stage, or so they told me. I was so jealous that she got to meet him.
@@Winter-Lake That's a bummer, but maybe for the better, the hair bands of the day would of took you, your innocence, and dropped you off in San Antonio when they picked up the new kids on the block!Cool to hear that someone was there with me and having fun,and your sister got to go back stage,us guys never get to go backstage that's how being pretty helps!thanks Winter-Lake!👌😎
THE MIGHTY LED ZEPPELIN. If you see them perform since I been loving you from Madison Square garden there is no doubt they are on a different level than anything before or since. How did they write so much great music? Idk. Meant to be
Oh is this where all the Zep in 73 hang out? Saw them at the LA Forum, fourth album and Houses of the Holy. Also Plant solo once. Unforgettable... that's what they were. You'll not see nothing like the mighty Zep!
Looking forward to watching him perform here in August. It will be the first time live for me, but just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see this legend, who has inspired, and influenced, so many great artist over all these years!
My daughter is such a Robert Plant fan, that last summer she bought tickets to every show he did here in California, from San Francisco to Santa Barbara. And and booked lovely B and Bs for us to stay in. She works super hard, so she spends her $$ just as hard. I love her so much!
LZ doesn't allow their songs to be used without permission. Even cover tunes on YT are demonitized or taken down. You want to play them you gotta pay them.
As kids we grew up laughing at and with Percy when he appeared on Saturday Morning slightly adulterated kids show Tiswas, he certainly enjoyed a good laugh.
@@miamibeachsunnydays8274 Reference to Roberts rock God status and his tight jeans showing HE dressed to the left his jeans used to be so tight it showed Robert was always laying to the left in his jeans. So to this young Robert Plant impersonator to dress to the right so he shows to the right if the kid has anything to shoe.
For those people who can't figure out why they're playing Aerosmith, or any other band besides LED zeppelin, is because led Zeppelin doesn't let anyone play their songs on RU-vid usually. I would have chose some kind of classical music or something myself.....
You would be correct. I think it’s more of their publisher or whoever looks after them. I think Record companies I believe hire people to actually police that type of stuff. I think it’s dumb because they would get so much more exposure right now to a whole new a wider audience. Maybe a band like zeppelin do need that but a lot of other bands do this as well who could use more exposure to their music. I really don’t understand it.
Finally. Someone knows. About time that there's a great musical artist from the past (pick your decade) that has figured it out and doesn't feel the need to sell themselves out by allowing their songs to be used in a car commercial. I'm sure some artists have no choice or they NEED whatever revenue that comes from it. Good to know that that's not always the case.
So true, and it made it hard to concentrate on anything else with that staring you in the face, lol. He certainly knew what he was doing with those jeans where women were concerned.
Yep. I had a girl friend (in Jr High 1971)ask me if I would like to be with Robert he's sure cute. . I said no , he would probably raid my wardrobe. (Thanks Sheryl Stewart RIP)
Shame they couldn't have picked a Led Zeppelin song. I totally knew what he meant. That's why a good friend of mine has renamed the movie, the album, The Dong Remains the Same
