Many speak the holy spirit through their music! not everyone reads the Bible or aligns with religion so this is gods way/ message to us regardless of faith! I find it beautiful for those who aren’t believers.
KIDDERMINSTER is on my bucket list. I want to see where RP laid the tarmac when he was the Asphalt God. I'm hoping for a Bustle in Your Hedgerow Tea Room. ☺💙
The story of his personality is etched in his face, embedded in the sound of his voice. His mane of hair is enough to make a grown woman jealous. He exudes confidence, courage and a lot of character for a man his age at the time. You can tell how intelligent he is just by listening to the way he speaks. He has a great vocabulary and he is so articulate by nature. Love it.
@ Ardith Allen RAP is the total package I have so much admiration for him. He has been my first love since I first heard LZ in 1974 I was 8 and I still love them to this day. Now I’m introducing my grandkids to the mighty Zep!!!!!
Robert Plant is one of that never loses his sexiness... it’s like his second skin ... it was born with him ... guy is better looking here than back in 1985-86 days with mullet hairdo ! Watch him on Rock in Rio 2 January 1991 , man he was so cool on stage !
@@simasgiuncaitis5145 I had a listen to The Greatest Gift and you are clearly wrong that it is his best song. How you can think it is a better song than Ship Of Fools is beyond me. are you deaf or do you just have laughably bad musical taste? You need to seriously reconsider this. You are completely wrong!
@@nanfrostsfashionfocusstyle6250 just think his dad and him lost some precious time together because…..”Robert you will go nowhere in music”…. I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️ I think if he puts a little effort into it he might make something of himself someday 🤣🎤🎵🔥🇬🇧🏴
Dios bendiga a Robert PLANT..
Like everyone, Plant evolved. He’s not who he was and I’m glad he’s not stuck in time. RP is arguably the best rock singer ever, but that was during Zeppelin’s reign. He’s no longer my favorite singer, but he’s got legions of fans who love his current music.
To me he will always be the guy in that band with that voice and that look and that talent. And most of all that song. Timeless. Iconic. Forever remembered. In this lifetime and the next.
Love the drummer, Michael Lee, he reminds me of Animal from the Muppets. Great drummer with some serious energy. He tore it up on the Page & Plant Tour. RIP Michael.
I just realized that was Phil Johnstone from the Now & Zen album playing with him and also Mike Lee on drums who played with Page-Plant on the UnLeded tours
Love his pre Zep,Zep's and post Zep's stuff..this man just never stop. Love to see how his vocal changed and getting better throughout the years.. and sexy as ever!
My friend and I were discussing Robert Plant and how his voice changed over the years and how he changed his style of singing to match his voice changes...he pulled it off superbly over the years in our opinion. Even in the Led Zeppelin era, it was pretty dramatic how much his voice changed and he adapted to it and made it work!
@@adamm2837 my Zep/Plant fanatic group would agree with you. I say he has run the full gambit from “Golden God” seriously inventing “the rocker” look….albeit imho the only other one that also pulled the look off …..Jimmy Page….he is one bad ass cool cat!!! But we’re talking about Robert….so then after his throat surgery his voice is deeper and he doesn’t do the banshee screams like he was this being evident on PG , but also my fave album, ITTOD runs an immediate 2nd. Robert’s voice is strong JPJ is just superb as always holding it down but because we’re listening to the last works of Bonzo 😥then our Percy reinvents himself now as a solo artist….it was just strange to me at first growing up with zeppelin but I loved it of course. Now I describe him as the “ Platinum Prince” crooner. I have absolutely adored, loved, respected that man since I was 7. That voice in my headphones has been there for all the best times and has gotten me through the worse. Now I have several grandchildren and the two oldest 10 & 16 listen to Zeppelin and think that their Nana is pretty damn cool to be my age & still listen to Zeppelin every single day!! They say they wish they grew up when I did….. I say yeah you do our music was effin awesome and I was way cooler than you guys are lol…. Rock on Adam!!! Robert Anthony Plant THE GOAT!!!!
He has the TRUE voice of a great voices for decades, unmatched. You gave him the respect he deserves contrary to David Letterman...which was really cold and polluted. Changed me about DL.
Love these 2 performances, especially "I Believe", written for Robert's late son, Pendragon Plant. Luv Rbt's comment about "cheesy" MTV "Unplugged", a few years later Rbt. & Pagey would create the most incredible "Unplugged" ever. ☺🎶💙🎶
Merveilleuse chanson et interview par un Homme comme je les aime ; Libre, Humble et profondément Humain 🇫🇷🇮🇪🙏💫 J’aime beaucoup son humour décalé, très cool 😂💫
Nice how Foreman joked with Plant getting into a boxing stance 3:49 like he was going to punch Plant when Robert came to greet him, then Plant shared the comradery with George by implying getting the ladies is a theme for all entertainers, including singers and boxers 5:34.
i never heard the first one awesome. the guy that mixed tall kool one with the old zeplin clips from several led zepplin songs that version is a genius its hard to find now with all the other versions on you tube here it is 1988 version Robert Plant - Tall Cool One (1988 LP Version) HQ
I've often wondered what RP and this particular group of musicians would have produced musically. The Fate of Nations LP was his finest IMHO . This group had a lot of energy ✌
Around 1977 he starts to learn how to sing, but doesn’t really become a singer in the 80s. In the 90s he learned how to sing, truly sing, Led Zeppelin material. By ‘77 he had given up cocaine completely, by the 90s he was no longer smoking cigarettes.
Brent, You wrote, that he started to learn to sing around '77.... Yes, he started, but he is a genius, and with the Led Zeppelin he was more than perfect. Yes, he is gettin better, and better, like a fine wine, but he sang very well, when he was young.
It’s great to have seen him play live with this lineup 28 years ago, especially because three of those excellent musicians unfortunately aren’t on this plane anymore due to health issues.
So sad about his sons death. Zeppelin was on their NA tour and he found out in Tampa i think and the show was cancelled so he could fly home to England and the tampa fans complained and complained. It really hurt the bands feelings
ZEP did the right thing there, family before all and everything, complaining fans should be ashamed of themselves, true fans would accept this and share the grieving.
