Suresh welcome back I miss you so much and I really love miss your videos so much I'm so happy that you're back the three dolls look so beautiful and gorgeous and I really love their outfits and jewelry ❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍
Good to see you back on RU-vid in fine form. I’ve been following you on Instagram and am happy that your absence has been due to good things keeping you busy. These dolls look nice. I prefer to stick to 12” and under dolls, but the wigs and separate outfits certainly offer versatility.
You are worth the wait! what an amazing treat it is to see you and your video🎉🥰 thank you so much! These dolls are so beautiful and the SHOES OMG! 😳❤️ My favourite is the Bride looking one too but it is a tough pick- I love the floweyness of the blue dress and even the cut of that dress, and the black dress is edgy and giving me the 80’s ruffle Cindy Lauper vibes that I love so yeah- I am going to say it’s a win win too ❤️ But the bride one’s shoes tip the scale ever so slightly- those boots are epic
It was so lovely to see you again. Lovely doll review as is your usual, honest and concise. Congratulation's on your marriage and you job. I wish you every happiness.
They are all gorgeous it’s great to see a new review from you. Romantic Notions is my favourite I love her eye make up and the fact that her hair is a wig and her dress reminds me of Truly Scrumptious from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Congratulations to you and Lincoln, and on your new job. Welcome to the PNW! I'm a Seattleite and hope that you're enjoying this gorgeous weather. Thanks again for checking in with us.... So happy for you! 🎉

Thanks for the wonderful review, Suresh - so great to have you back! I really enjoyed seeing these new Tonner dolls. Love your new place, and congrats on your wedding - may you have a wonderful life together!!
The girls and their clothing are very pretty. Really like those Blue Shoes too! The only problem I have with them is the packing. Don't like the foam. The box is also huge. The original boxes were so much better. Not only for mailing but for storing. Thanks for showing them and I am so glad to see you again. Hope it doesn't take this long again for you to appear again. Also congrats. It sounds like the move to the NW was good for you.
PS you are beyond busy, but The Queens of the Doll Aisle have shows here in Seattle and also Portland. In case you don't know those guys....It's being held September 24 @ Suites by Hilton Southcenter. :)
Very interested in learning more about these dolls. They are all pretty. Also wondering if these outfits would fit an Elowyne Wilde doll from Robbert Tonner or just the Grace Fitzpatrick?
Star Gazer Olivia Chase doll is beautiful. I love the sheer blue dress. The embrodiery is excellent. How tall is she? 18 inches? This is one doll I would purchase to add to my collection. For me the Romantic Notion is "ok". Her dress is just 'ok". So 1880s. But, I love the lace boots. Because she can wear a wig, it would have been nice for her to have 2 additional wigs- red head and brunette. As for the last doll, Mixed Media, she is sooo 1960s. Her black dress and black boots are toooo cute! I like the red hair and greenish eyes. She is a doll I would consider purchasing also, due to the black boots. Thanks for sharing these dolls.
I've been trying to find these new Tonner dolls to buy one, and to date I STILL cannot find them and cannot find them at the Sideshow site. What the hell? I am so done with trying to find the new Tonner design doll -- the link you provided has NO information and no dolls, so it looks like Tonner is done at Sideshow too. The only plus was that his dolls seemed more affordable, but I guess now I'll look at Iplehouse whose BJD dolls are pricier, but also more beautiful.
I feel like the outfits lack detail for dolls of that size. Like, IT can do all of this with more finesse, at a smaller scale. I don't mind simple, but the construction also doesn't look amazing. I feel like standards are higher since Robert Tonner's heyday. To be fair though, they're pretty well priced as far as 16" dolls go. They're nowhere near as expensive as like JamieShow dolls, but they also don't look it.
I've missed your delighted intakes of breath! Really hoping you'll be able to do more videos, even if not as many as before. Your new abode is stunning! I know you always try to be positive but I've collected Tonner for decades and these dolls do nothing for me. The RTB101 body is bulky and the face sculpt/paint makes her look angry. Also annoying that the new body sculpt is too big for his earlier TW fashions. I hate the 2 velcro dots that Tonner has always used for his wigs, they don't work well and are difficult to use. Mixed Media seems like a ripoff of his earlier Annora Monet doll and the bangs on that wig are way too long. The price point seems good though.
I wish I liked these dolls more than I do. I’ve always struggled with Robert Tonner dolls, something about the aesthetic has always been an issue for me. There’s no question these are well designed and well-made, but the face sculpts have a distinctive character that just doesn’t really appeal to me. Back in the early 2000s, I collected Tyler Wentworth dolls for a short time, but I didn’t stick with it. It’s usually the jawline that throws me on his dolls, they’re often kind of heavy and almost swollen looking to me. Like even if the size of the jawline didn’t change, it needs more definition. I realize that’s just a taste thing, I still recognize the overall quality of the product. Part of it for me is that I also just prefer dolls in the 12-inch scale, dolls in this scale have always been just kind of unwieldy to me.
Hi Suresh I recently got the "Olivia Chase Romantic Notion" doll from e-bay and I was very disappointed as it looks to me disproportionate. The body, hands and feet are larger than Tyler Wentworth's but the head is the exact size as Tyler's. Did you notice that or it's just me? I have another doll (Annora Monet) with the same body (RTB-101) but the head is proportionate to her body size.
