"Showtime" Grace Marie Fitzpatrick by Robert Tonner is a Virtual Doll Convention Exclusive doll, limited to 300 pieces. She's a 16 inch fashion doll wearing an exquisite caped gown, sparkly jewelry, and fabulous high heel evening sandals. Grace is sporting the newest Tonner body, RTB 101, and is highly posable. She feels lovely in the hand. I'm loving the beautiful construction of her gown and accessories. Her shoes are magical!!

thanks for this very detailed review. Tonner fashion is always perfect. Most of the time fully lined and as your noticed quite well done. I have some Tonner dolls male and female. I bought the first Tyler in 2000. I love Toner sculpts for female as well as male. I am quite a bit disappointed by the color differences between feet /legs. never had this problem before with my dolls. the articulations are a must for me and are quite elegant and forgettable. I am not a collector but more a player involving doll in stories. I am making my own cloth.

If anyone is new to Tonner and would like a more affordable option to redress and play with "Mosaic Modern" Sydney from 2004 looks very similar to this doll. Those dolls are quite plentiful on eBay.

I’ve been looking at the Sydney Chase/ Tyler Wentworth dolls on eBay, however are they the exact same size as Grace? I’d like to know because Grace has nice outfits being designed for her. Grace is a RBT 101, as is Wonder Woman, I believe. Is Sydney the same size?

oh my gosh, thnaks for reviewing a TONNER doll! She looks amazing! That cape is just drama and luxury in one! AND HER FACE! I missed seeing a SYDNEY CHASE face! I still believe she is the OG R.B.F in dolls, waaaayyyy before any of the angry looking dolls like Agnes Von Weiss LOL

Love her!! I purchased her. She is the deluxe. I also purchased two others which are basic and wigged. Beautiful face on this doll. A totally different face sculpt but a familiar RTB101 body.

Grace looks like a Sydney Chase reboot to me. I collected Tyler Wentworth, Sydney Chase and the other 16" Tonner girls for 20 years. I discovered Integity Toys 12" girls and guys in mid 2018 and sold 99% of my 16" collection to buy Integrity's Fashion Royalty, Poppy Parker and the rest of their 12" dolls. I now own more Integity 12" dolls than I ever owned of Tonner and Gene 16" girls. However, I never sold my Barbie collection. I have dolls running out of my ears, and I still keep buying them. Being in the Wclub keeps me broke, but I LOVE my Gurls!

i started making jewelry for Tonner dolls because i dislike the boxclasp they come apart really easily and i lost Fever Angelina's Bracelets and don't get me started on the string as an OG tonner Collector is Grace looks more like Sydney than Olivia her own Daughter does makes me wonder if Grace and Olivia are sisters Robert never specified

There is a whole community of Grace fans and WE ALL PLAY with our dolls! I have the mermaid costume too and LOVE that it is made in limited quantity by an independent maker.

VDC shoes I think are made by Facets Boutique and only fit Tonner dolls with the RTB101 body.

Just ordered her in this dress and another one with blue eyes and also a red head with green eyes. Also ordered another dress and those beige patent leather shoes. I just discovered her today and her holiday dress was already sold out. Then I came to see your unboxing. I look forward to more dresses.

Heads up, I'm not a Tonner fan so take this with a grain of salt: Is it just me, or does she not come with much compared to IT or other sixteen inch dolls? At $250, I feel like I'd want more than stretchy bracelets (giant ugh at elastic bracelets, especially since her hands come off) and a pair of shoes. If the dress was beaded instead of covered in flocked glitter I could get behind the $250 price point, but that seems like a lot of money for what you're getting. It's not like the body of the doll is anything super special like a JamieShow doll. I don't get it.
