At least until he isn't on the pitch and then he is greatly missed - the midfield can't do the pressing, the ball winning etc, they can't be the link player(s) to the forwards and certainly don't get the goals and assists he does either....

Either way there arent many opportunities for us here in America to love Brazilian athletes unless you are into mixed martial arts so I just found it very interesting that I gravitated toward him and all the other players from more "exotic" countries of the world. Sometimes growing up in America can feel sort of like a bubble and I am really enjoying being fans of athletes from all over the world and not just the ones from here. So much talent I was missing out on. And all the rest if the world knows these guys but here so many people have no idea they exist. Its strange.

MrHeart12 yeh he does. on certain videos on the liverpool fc youtube acount he speaks just as good english as allisson - he has been playing for liverpool since 2015 so it is understandable. i know, its crazy how disconnected the US is to european football, but if you come to any country in europe you could name practically any player from the top 6/7 leagues and everyone will know who they are - football really is a huge part of many peoples lives.

MrHeart12 also many football fans from south america, africa and asia will support certain players in european teams as they have very low quality football in theyre countries. e.g. salah, mane ,aubameyang are very popular in africa - neymar, messi, coutinho are very popular in south america and heung min son is very popular in asia.

I can assure you Mane and Salah refusing to pass has resulted in far lesser goals than what not being selfish would. I will also assure you 100% that if Mane and Salah were not selfish, we would not only win the Champions League, we would absolutely dominate.

@@andycarollsuarez couldn't agree more. Selfish is okay but like you said there times where passing was a WAY BETTER OPTION TO SCORE but they didn't do it. If Mane and Salah would just be as humble as Firmino then we would have gone to a higher goal difference in the league.

Salah was better than Owen in his prime. And Torres and suarez never won anything with our club. Salah trumps them in stats, even as a winger. There isn’t really a case to be made for those you’ve mentioned, compared to salah.
