If it is true and there really is a poem about the Greenmen, they should air it. Lu's poems are so good that all his work deserve to be out there. Someone needs to air the Greenmen poems if it's not a rumor.
i hate how people hate on him. he is one precoius goalie. yall just watch this team will bring us a stanley cup and when we do LUOOOO will be a big pat of it. All season and playoffs he has continued to prove himself as one of the best goaltenders in the leuge and still his own "fans" hate on him? ridicoulous. he'll always be the champ he truely is in my heart.

hate on Luongo all you want guys, but you know what, he's a really nice person and this just shows he goes beyond the ice, beyond the hockey. he has a personality and has a sense of humour. the haters will hate because they're just bandwagon fans, cuz it takes real dignity to support whoever's winning right?
At Rogers Arena last night, I was passing through the security gate heading to the warehouse, and who comes walking toward me but Roberto Luongo, looking tres natty in his Italian suit. I just froze in my tracks and stood there gaping, trying to decide if I should reach for my phone camera or say something. So I blurted, "hey, I like your poetry!" He smiled and paused to say, "Oh well, thanks" then turned and walked out. Maybe I'll write a poem about it.
Luongo was a great goalie, best in the league when he's on his game, but only stole 2 playoff games as a Canuck, neither of them crucial games. His first vs. Dallas in the triple OT, and one in the first round vs. chicago in 2011.

Exactly! Lu doesn't go pad to the post all the time as he should, as any goalie should, and he is also really sloppy and slow from sliding from post to post. Schneider is younger than him, and as we have saw form what Schneider is capable of, he is only going to get better. Luongo has what, 4-5 years left? Maybe a bit more, and he still hasn't matured completely. Anyone who says that any Nucks fan is a bandwagon-er for "hating" on Lu, Ill I have to say is that I see a goalie with potential...
@Hundal19 As for Luongo in the Olympics... well almost any goalie in the top 10 in the NHL could have secured a gold medal or at least be in the final of the tournament with the amount of firepower behind Team Canada. Luongo in his 6 games started faced 146 shots, or 24 shots/game average. The other team's goalie faced 237 shots by Canadian shooters, or 39 shots/game average. It's safe to say that the stats are working with Luongo. Good goalie.. yup. Great goalie... not a chance.

Luongo - 7 straight 30 win season. Compared to Schneider, Luongo in 115 GP has a: 2.26 GAA - .924 SV % - 9 shutouts. Schneider in 58 GP has a: 2.10 GAA and .933 SV %. Why are Schneider`s stats a little bit better? Well he`s played 57 less games then Luongo. Plus Luongo doesn't screw up. In the finals for example, people blamed Luongo for the loss, when we only scored 8 goals in the 7 games. Luongo played great, his only fault was the fact that he couldn't score for the team

He was solid in net for the first two games against LA, that is obvious, but he still let in a couple of goals that were because of his poor habit decisions. Luongo goes down on his pads too fast, to try and close his 5-hole. He lunges when he shouldn't, he should stay in his net, and he also needs to learn how to get off of his chest and stay upright too the puck and the shooter. Schneider excels in all of those areas, and hopefully he can be our starter next year!
I loved "Shootout" myself, I love that he has a sense of humour about himself. I just cringe when Lu gets into a shootout situation. Apparently, so does he...lol
Well apparently Toronto was one of Luongo's city's to play in if he were to get traded. I have no idea why, I am assuming he wants even more pressure, lol. I'll tell you something though, I do have a feeling that wherever Luongo goes, I feel that he will become a hell of a lot better than playing here in Vancouver. However, Schneider is amazing, and will only get better.
guys!! Roberto always order a lobster linguine from Cioppino's in yaletown :D I ate it and it was pretty hard pasta!!! Great resteraunt for Roberto Luongo to order it the day before a home game as he is VERY superstitious
