Thanks for sharing such a beautiful song with us. I'm certain that both Robin and Barry were missing Mo so very much here. Those shared leads were just amazing and everyone who experienced this live performance, including Charles, William and Harry, didn't realize just how blessed they were at the time. Continue to RIP precious Robin and Mo. 😢🙏
Robin's singing is phenomenal. If you want to hear my favorite of Robin singing this song, check out the acoustic version: "Flowers in our garden (Robin Gibb to love somebody acoustic)"
This is so raw, I feel the emotions from them both after losing Maurice. It must be so hard trying not to show these feelings to the world. They dont have to hide them as it comes thru their music and so powerful. They have helped me in my lows & highs. They have been there since the '70. Love & miss you all. Thanks for these ledgends.
@@BGWhispererso every time someone compliments Robin, you're obligated to turn it into a Barry compliment? How dare anyone compliment him and not Barry. Good grief you're childish.
@@kthor
Absolutely mesmerizing rendition of one of the Bee Gees best hits that brings Maurice back to the stage with them in the minds of us long time admirers. May Barry enjoy many more years as a performer and spokesperson of the immortal fame of Bee Gees. 🥰
@@BGWhispereragain? Just can't let someone compliment Robin without dropping Barry's name? PS you missed a couple of a comments here complimenting Robin. Quick, go find them and add some Barry praise or negativity about Robin.
Both beautiful Barry and beautiful Robin whom I am sure at the time were truly missing beautiful Maurice. That performance was packed with raw emotion.
QDDG 🌹🙏🌹.Barry siempre guapo y divino. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@tuboto9 - Anyone who is THAT thin is not healthy. Personally, being scrawny has never been a problem for me. His gastrointestinal malformation, the same one that killed his twin, was no doubt bothering him for a while. He had been having abdominal pain for a long time and ignored it and he was unable to eat, not to mention severe depression over the loss of his twin. His strict vegan diet was very unhealthy for him due to his undiagnosed health issues. That is not healthy person.
It sure seemed that way didn't it. That raw emotion. Was this the first time they performed together after Mo passed? Had to be so rough... On them both... Yet therapeutic in a way also. 💔💔💔
@@Александра-с6ю2ь - If this is horrible the simplest solution is don't watch it. Robin was called the "Pavarotti of pop" (David Leaf music critic), the best voice of his generation (Paul Gambaccini music critic) and praised by his peers like Elton John who actually tried to mimic him doing "August October". BARRY said "He has one of the best voices I ever heard, better than mine and he sings without any effort." (*Source - Daily Mirror 1969 and this was said in fact during their split), Roger Daltry of the Who said "He sings as though his heart is on the outside", BARRY'S friend David English "He had the best white soul voice of his generation". Of course what the hell would BARRY himself and so many others know compared to an expert like yourself. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. ☺"Antics" have nothing to do with talent. Barry was just having another hissy fit....you know Barry, the brother that was fighting with all three of his brothers when they died. I guess all three must have been terrible people.
@@Александра-с6ю2ь - I've encountered you before. You are very hateful. Can you not just say you didn't like him and leave it at that without the insults?....and you repeat it OVER AND OVER. Did you not read what BARRY said? Notice that was a QUOTE. Mo said the same. Their mother said "Robin had a beautiful voice. When he sang it gave me chills". All of them must have been dreamers too, LOL. If you "didn't look any further" how do you know what "antics" he did on this video? None.Have a Merry Christmas Grinch. 🤪🙄
@@estelacobas4416 - None of the brothers were perfect. Saying vicious things about a dead man is pathetic. Robin died a prolonged terrible death but people still find a need to attack him. He worked for many good causes that I doubt they even know about and was nominated for a knighthood but died before it was bestowed. His life was music and he carried on bravely until he couldn't any longer. Barry is a musical icon although not without his bad points but if someone points them out they are labelled as haters or liars....no just truth tellers. I don't hate Barry but by pointing out some bad things he did they say I must hate him. Notice when I post things I use quotes and sources. They do not.
Bee-yoo-ti-ful! It sounded like a total tribute to Maurice. I love Barry’s strong, distinct, take-charge return after letting Robin get more involved in the tribute. And he looked really sharp in that suit.
@T Wariner LETTING him ? What's your source for that? And not because you THINK that's how it went down. I can equally say it was Robin who "let" Barry be part of HIS tribute to Mo, if not actually having facts about anything is the basis for comments like yours.
Well, this rendition just proved that Robin was right when he thought he should be the lead more. Robin taking the lead on the 1st verse made this song even more spectacular; should have always been done this way.
Robin’s voice isn’t as good for the original song and that’s a fact. Barry’s is. This song will always be Barry’s and there’s no song of Barry’s that any Barry fan or more neutral fan would say Robin should’ve sang over him. But this version was a nice addition. I view it as a tribute to Maurice by both his brothers. It was good of Barry to give Robin the first part BECAUSE Robin should be involved in the tribute to Maurice. And then Barry came in strong and got it going, as if saying, “I got this.” It was in good hands once again. And no, it shouldn’t have been done like this any other time. This was an exception.
@@BGWhispererffs you can't even just stfu and leave a tribute to their dead brother, and especially Rob's twin, alone and NOT turn it into a crap on Robin and his voice comment? Pathetic.
Barry was at odds with all three brothers when they died including congenial Mo and Barry's supposed "twin" Andy. Were Mo, Andy and Robin ALL to blame?
@@susieq9801What do you think? Andy was a nightmare. Barry resorted to tough love in a phone call and regretted it afterward, saying that wasn’t him. Are you questioning Barry’s and Andy’s close relationship? Devilish of you. They were the best of friends, and Andy hero-worshipped Barry. I’m sure Andy is sitting there in heaven with nothing but love for his dear brother. Who knows what went on with Barry and Mo. Do you know? I don’t think so. So maybe you should keep quiet. Barry and Maurice always had a good relationship. Maurice always chose to stay with Barry. They were just going through a rough patch, and I’m sure if they haven’t already worked it out they will on the other side. Maurice, too, always looked at Barry with such love and respect. Robin and Barry always had a complicated relationship. I think Barry’s description of Robin as a fair-weather friend about sums it up. At the end Robin had done something that hurt Barry deeply. We can only assume that was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I think Barry had complicated feelings about Robin long after he was gone. But I’m sure Barry and Robin will have a good talk someday and there may be some changes and new perspectives there. I know Barry’s worked very hard to forgive all his brothers. Most likely especially Robin. The fact that Barry had to forgive them may answer your question. According to Barry’s brothers Barry is kind, gentle, compassionate, a peacekeeper, and multi-talented, among other things. What does that tell you about Barry? Please take your hard-on of hate and leave Barry alone. You really like to kick a good man when he’s down. The Barry hate with you is always strong. 🐍 🥾
@@BGWhisperer - You really like to kick a good man when he's down". Well, you kick a man who is really down, six feet under. In spite of your claims, I repeat, I do NOT hate Barry but I do think he's far from the sainted being you think. They were all complicated individuals in a complicated familial relationship.
