I always wonder what happened to him I know this was a few years ago isure hope he's still living he sounded great in 2013 You should be proud of your grandfather I'm 61yrs I was in 5th or 6th grade when I heard this song
A sophomore in high school, I was Making out on an island in the Mississippi river with my girlfriend, along with a group of classmates, and their "friends" a transistor radio playing this song in the background, campfire...cold beer we stole from our parents...ahh, great times growing up in the Midwest!
Hi Jim~ LG here! I bought 50 45's to make dividers for my LP's & this was in the group! I came looking to see what was here about Robin & this song. Didn't we all luv this one?? It's on the original press Steed Records 45-724. The World of Music is so huge & yet small at the same time.
First heard this song in 1970, I was 12yrs old. My older sister’s hippies girlfriends would see me and sing “Lay a Little Lovin' on Me” 😍 When I hear it played, I think back to 1970 and my sister’s friends and those days growing up in So. Cal. 🤪 Hey Dillion please have your grandfather post the actual guitar chords and tabs on line. From one guitarist to another😉
Why the blankety blank blank are the freaking instruments playing too dang loud? Trying to drown him out? When he was younger the instruments did not play loud. He's practically straining against the instrumemts.
