He spends most of his time in St. Helens, I'm a scouser from the Sefton area in Liverpool, which is where he's originally from and we don't talk exactly like that, he was pure scouse at one time but now he sounds like he's from the Wirral, he's got a bit of a manc twang now
@tomhills1 He was from Warrington but admittedly he sounds like a scouser. He is a very generous guy and he was fostered for a long time. I don't know any "pikeys" that would let there kids be fostered.

Really glad the UK pulled it back, its been painful to watch the last few weeks. But I think that Robin Reid really disrespected the American who has always come across as a decent guy. Not a good representative for the UK.

this guy is historical. not cuz he was the 1st 2 beat calzaghe (got screwed - L SD), but cuz after that he started calzaghes legendary streak of ducking fighters better than himself by not giving reid a rematch. the list of ducked fighters on joe's behalf has grown bigger since. meanwhile his record of big fights stands still at 2 wit eubanks n lacy.

@markmezo I always root for Americans because I'm American. But the fact that this guy is a Pikey kinda makes me root for him. When you think about it. That's how a real boxer should talk anyways.
1. reid did beat joe 2. reid did beat ottke 3. joe demolished lacy, brewer, byron mitchel joe's fight against reid was a classic, it was close but i gave it to reid, much cleaner shots landed, reid did refuse rematch due to money offered, shame cause that would have been great. Britain should be proud of both these fighters
