My wife and I just finished watching Robin’s Wish. We laughed, we cried...a lot. How awful that a human being with a mind as brilliant as Robin’s, that it should be taken away from him without him knowing what was actually happening to him. Knowing a little more now about Lewy Body Dementia, I hope that one day a cure can be found. Thank you Susan for sharing Robin with us. Sending Love from Sheilagh and I.

Thank you for giving us, Robin's fans, the education to understand what happened to this rare human being. I wish he had known. Much missed and dearly adored.

My mom tested as a genius, and thanks to your research and sharing, now I know what she was going through before she died. I was calling it Dementia but it didn't fit Alzheimer's. I noticed her telling her legs to work, falling frequently, having hallucinations, poor judgement, not sleeping, in and out of reality, paranoid, aware she was forgetting and trying to mentally fight it to the end...

Thank you for covering such an important topic that is so difficult to diagnose. I lost my 72 year old Mom to Lewy Body and she suffered from it for many years with no diagnosis. It's so important for the children and caretaker to know what you're dealing with with someone has this so you can understand what they're going through. It took years and multiple doctors to figure this out. When she finally got diagnosed, we lost her within 4 months. It's a horrible disease but raising awareness about it is so important. My Mom kept her funny sense of humor the entire time which was a blessing. Robin's Wish will help so many people and Susan is a rock star for paying tribute to her husband by fulfilling his dream to help others! She is amazing!

I finally had the courage to watch Robin's Wish, and to morn his death. Suddenly overcome with such grief, I'm at a loss for words. Can't stop crying. All these years, I just couldn't accept the fact that he's gone. We shared the same birth date. So even though I never had the privilege to meet him, I've always felt a spiritual connection with him. I've never imagined a world without him in it. Now, to know that he didn't committ suicide as the media speculated, but was taken away from us, especially from Susan, by something so terrifying & traumatic, is more heartbreaking than anything else we could have ever imagined. He deserved so much better than to have been given the worst ending to such an extraordinary person who lived an amazing life. It's so not fair. It makes no sense that someone so full of love that was born to share all that love through the best act of laughter, would suffer so horribly in the end of this life. It's just cruel. The terror he felt those last days is unfathomable. A bright, shinning light, that surrounded this world with warmth & eternal joy is gone forever. This place will be a little darker, a little colder & shall be a whole lot less enjoyable without him in it. I'm so sorry for his pain & for Susan's loss. It's a hard one to swallow. R.I.P. dear prince of laughter. I'm so grateful he blessed us with his superhero gift during my lifetime. 😭😭😭💔💔💔

Sad to hear he had this rare disease and was not diagnosed before his death. Great you are spreading the word about it to help others. I was lucky to meet Robin once when I was in H.S. during his Mork N Mindy days. I was waiting out front of the Park West in Chicago with a couple friends of mine hoping to see him. His limo pulled up. I remember he had on a green canvas windbreaker full of buttons with funny sayings on them. I told him I loved Mork n Mindy and watched it all the time. I had a piece of looseleaf paper on me so asked if he could sign it and it looked like Rob Will...he was so nice. The people waiting to see the show started pushing toward him and he said let me talk to the kids awhile I 'll catch you guys inside. The show was 21 and over so he knew we couldn't get into the show. Such a sweet guy. Saw most or maybe all of his movies...he was amazing and left behind so many movies we can enjoy over and over again. Love him. So sad he is no longer with us but glad he left so much behind to enjoy. He is so awesome!

Like so many others, I was drawn to Robin's genius but even more so, I was drawn to this quiet human element that came through in so many of his performances. You can't 'act' or 'invent' that kind of human aunthenticity. With Robin, it just shone through. Take a look at the video showing Robin with Koko the gorilla - here we see Robin in his most basic childlike being - filled with simple love, no facade, no ego, just pure being

Yes I saw that clip with Koko and it just confirmed what an authentic human being he was.

I heard about it when my brother was diagnosed with it. He passed away at 64. I am currently getting symptoms, but I have not been diagnosed because symptoms really just started for me. I am not really sure If I have it or not but I just turned 60 and recently have been having difficulties at times finishing a sentence, thought, etc. It is so frustrating, but I can understand. Confusion somewhat, not being able to concentrate well. those are my symptoms right now, but not all the time. Next week I will be tested. I want to thank you guys so much.

@@wordsleuth992 They will be doing a test to see first of all if I have the gene for it. Probably a ct scan too to see what the baseline of my brain looks like. I am NOT having other symptoms although I am very tired most of the time.

Just watched this amazing documentary and as a person who cares for people with dementia and just how how little we know about it. I can somewhat understand what he must of undergone because I have seen people go from knowing and not knowing something is wrong with them. I cried,I laughed and had my instinct reinforced that “our behaviour is our legacy” Thank you for this brilliant movie xxx

DAMMIT...i missed this. However, i totally and appreciated ALL OF WHAT Susan has done in the honor of her love of her partner in crime. BRAVO kiddo. You did good. Robin is a brother from another mother in space and time. His ENERGY left behind will resonate for CENTURIES.

Never had anything negative to say personally about Robin Williams he was an awesome dude. I felt alot of sympathy when he passed back in August 2014 but I feel more sympathy and empathy for poor African American women especially light skinned black people who get Alzheimer's and or dementia because it is always with something to do with oppression something to do with jealousy hatred negligence and forms of medical racism. When I see a movie or documentary about an African American woman that obtains Alzheimer's or Dementia that's when it will be the most relatable to me

My brother had hallucinations his wife told us. The strange thing about it, it happened seemingly so quickly. The police stopped his car while he was traveling to S. Carolina for a conference(he sold furniture to stores) and the police told his wife that she had to get him, that he couldnt drive home. So, that was a shock. My niece to me that he called her and told her that a bunch a naked women were inside his home! She told him to have fun!! Hallucinations he did have, I think that my sister in law could'nt really handle him too well in the end. He was getting combative.

Do you have any idea what Robins IQ was?? I think the fact that he was so intellectually curious was what allowed him to empathize with people and to be so authentic. He was always one of my favorite actors since the time I was a child. Thank you for bringing this important issue to light so that people can be educated about dementia and brain disorders. Do they think there is an auto-immune element to this disease??

My Dad has Parkinsons, he had it though kind of in the final stages of his life. He was 86 when he passed away. He didnt have alot of symptoms other than his hand was shaking alot. in the end. I know that they must be somewhat connected, I mean between Parkinsons, Levy Body, etc.

It’s not rare... it’s one of the most common forms of dementia. I don’t know why she keeps saying it’s rare.
