Robin Trower.. For me, for so many reasons, the greatest Rock Blues guitarist of all time. The Live album of `75` set new standards. Sure, Jimi Hendrix was burning his own spectacular fire through his drug fuelled Purple Haze, but no one before or since has bought such depth and emotion to the sound of the Guitar.. God bless you Robin, the one and only..

Wow, I can’t believe he’s 78. He looked in similar condition when I saw him at a small club in the early 2000s and the audience looked similar to him. I was kind of laughing to myself because I was only 40 at the time.. he really is an excellent player. The way he can time a slow lead like that and leave space between so now I’m 60 and I discovered him when I was 14 sometime in the late 70s I read once that is recording company wouldn’t send him to the United States because they didn’t want to front the bill because he can’t fill the venues up. I thought that really sucked.. He’s already a highly musician, and these record companies are holding the musicians back and what they do for a living it’s all about the dollar

Robin Trower....he was my main influence to get me started on my guitar playing journey. The Bridge of Sighs and Live albums and 8 Track tapes... I wore them out playing so often. I remember listening to Too Rolling Stoned in the morning, blaring in my car of the high-school parking lot....late for home room. The assistant principal came out asking, "Why aren't you in class?" My reply, " Robin's solo isn't over yet, " I got to see him live after my stint in the service, in a club called the 49th Street Minning Company. Great small venue....sounded heavenly ...thick syrupy blues, searing leads, strat, Marshall, Fulltone Deja Vibe, wah, overdrive....ahhh yes. I still have a setup just for Trower to this day. I agree with the comment... we miss Dewar's bass and vocals....glad Robin is still rockin'.

One of the all-time greats with his own, signature sound. Back in the early days, he was criticized as a Hendrix "Imitator", but nothing could be further from the truth. It is impressive this great guitarist is still playing at his age and so damned well too. Kudos to you Robin, I especially enjoyed your guest appearance with the great Bryan Ferry some years ago, a wild combination. Your record Bridges of Sighs is in my collection and I applaud this man for his guitarmmanship, fabulous guitarist.

Saw Robin Trower back in the 90's at a small venue. Sunset Heights played that night too. It was an event.
