They actually made her form far scarier than I was expecting. The way she lunges over Black Maria's corpse at her freak-out kai is goddamned terrifying!
@@totalgarbage2053 I thought that the "sigh with drooping tongue" was a common trope for dying, giving up the ghost as it were, but ok then. Still, Maria's henchmen don't know that she's not an ex-drider, do they..!?
@@Skeptical_Numbat characters in One Piece don’t die unless Oda exclusively says so. Robin wouldn’t kill because it goes against her captains code. Even Zoro only resorted to killing when he himself was going to be executed (and the person judging over him was an actual serial killer)
@@totalgarbage2053 lmao Don't type English is you can't understand what you're typing ok If every bone in your body breaks how the hell you will alive ???? She killed black maria, she broke her neck
Her Demonio form gave me chills. It was literally on a different level and easily overwhelmed Black Maria who only managed to do so well in the first place because of the webs.
This is the best duel from all Tobiroppo members against Mugiwara crews!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Black Maria looked vicious and fearless in battle with Nico Robin. And also, the moment when Nico Robin turns into demon form (Demonio Fleur) was amazing, frightening and mesmerizing at the same time🫣😰 What an epic duel to watch!!! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Robin out here giving Black Maria the Bane Treatment! Seriously that’s like how she dealt with spandam but even more intense cause that’s a snapped spine busted ribs and broken arms and wrist with all that pressure.
I honestly can't remember the last time or if ever One Piece gave me a jump scare as bad as Demon Child Robin at 0:11 like fr that lowkey almost gave me a heart attack😭😱😂 also love how they made the "Derishishi" laugh creepy af
@@NarutoHokageX.LuffyPirateKing after red seems like the budget is only getting bigger. I’m sure the success of bleach will only encourage toei to do better.
@@Dololondondon yeah, but this scene for example is cut to shit because RU-vid, the most recent 3 episodes were way better in anime than their manga chapters. One piece manga is so rushed at the end of onigashima, sadly anime will only continue being better than the manga
This was one of the episodes in which I WISH I hadn't read the manga first before watching the anime adaptation. While it was really cool in the manga, it didn't have anywhere NEAR the emotional impact this anime episode does!!! So I watched it knowing everything that was gonna happen and didn't expect to be so emotionally affected, but my jaw still DROPPED at the "dereshishi" and I found myself cheering. And if I went in blindly not already knowing she'd become a demon I just KNOW I would've loved it even more. Same w/ the previous Brook episode where in the manga they just GLOSS over how he wasn't affected by the illusions either (he doesn't even get a page, he gets a single PANEL. I remember reading it and being like "...ok? what was the point of the illusions if they just shrug it off sodamn easily"), but in the anime, they take time to show a heartbreakingly beautiful and haunting display of him slashing through the illusions of his crewmates, which brought me to tears. The manga be feeling pretty rushed around the time Red was advertised :'( The Wano arc seems to be having a track record of doing a lot more scenes better in its anime counterpart than its source material, compared to the previous arcs. The other one I like better too is when Sanji bandaged Zoro, it was handled comically in the manga (which I didn't have a problem with, I loved it) but it wasn't til I watched the anime episode that I realized the depth they brought to that scene suited it even more. :') Edit: spelling--my computer is autocorrecting everyone's names lol
Gotta love how Kaido's crew tried to hit the strawhats with their worst, both mentally and physically...Gave them the bird, a "BITCH YOU THOUGHT!" and folded them...Who's Who and Black Maria got what they were asking for...
If that spider lady survived this then that’s THE only lucky thing she has now because I don’t think she’ll be able to walk ever again 😨 she totally deserves it 😁
Who’s who taunted Jinbe about slavery, and paid for it. Black Maria taunted Robin about being nicknamed Demon Child, and paid for it. Moral of the story: Don’t dig up other people’s painful pasts.
i can understand luffys victims surviving..i even understand zoro's victims surviving no problem.. but idc what you say robin's victims exit stage left outta here. paralyzed or dead.
Nami: way to go robin! 👏 Franky: that’s my girl! Sanji: your amazing as always robin my love!😍😍😍😍 Usopp: you showed that spider lady who’s boss! Brook: you were impressive! Jinbe: I must say even I am impressed Zoro: did she just turn into a demon?!
Am i the only who was not surprised by how she killed Black Maria? Robin was already twisting necks and snapping spines of armies in just one swift moment. Plus the cracking sound effects already traumatized me reminding me that Robin is an actual assassin lol
That was some good shit right there!!! They should’ve added more blood when robin was breaking maria in half i though robin was going to eat her ribs out and spit them out like a fucking savage 🔥🔥🔥 if robin learns haki is quite for alot of people
After seeing her transformation, it feels scarier rewatching the docking scene with Sanji, and the scene where Franky was making faces in chopper's body.
The way robin went from thinking she didn't have the right to live because she was called a demon and thought she brought misfortune on others, to turn that into becoming a demon to save her friends is great writing.
Robin being Beautiful as Anastasia but also being as Evil & Brutal as Stalin when needed to survive & save her friends. Nico Robin are amazing! We need fanarts of Robin dressed as a Soviet Soldier & Soviet Leader during WW2 with lots of medals.
Looks like she used ryou when she broke the ceiling.... But I don't think Robin would know how to use that whilst the captain is just learning to master it.
In this form, I have the impression that she can control her blood, covering her body with several layers of blood to achieve a kind of intangibility, and the fact that she's mastered fish-man karate convinces me even more.
It's kinda ironic that Luffy being embodiment of Joy has half of crew with some underworld themes - Zoro - King of Hell, Sanji - Devil/Flame demon, Robin - Literal devil, Brook - Dead alive, Chopper - Monster.
