Ran into Robin on a 24/7 instant respawn 2Fort community server of all places around six months ago. Was a pretty cool guy, apparently was playing with his son, who plays TF2 now.
@@BlackMesaEmployee It may not be 'easy' but the bots have been a huge problem for 4 years now. Plenty of time has passed. Every single community server seems to have been able to keep the bots out. The solution is out there. Just wish Gaben would take some small fraction of the money he has made from tf2 and invest it back into fixing things:)
@@BlackMesaEmployee to add onto the bots being fixable, the question i have been asking for many years is, if bots are THAT HARD to get rid of, why is it that every other game in the world seems to have almost no issues with bots at all, or if they do have bots they're just simple chat bots/spam bots? i've seen my fair share of multiboxers in many various games, evolved into people w/ dozens of bots following them around, but that's about it. and even that is fairly rare. tf2 is the only game where there's supposedly 100000 people playing and i am 100% certain that half of those (or more) are just robots. I quit tf2 ages ago because i could not for the life of me ever find ANY game that did not have robots in it, and in fact nearly 100% of the games i played had 9 or more bots on both teams at all times of the day, in every map. that isn't a little whoopsy daisy from valve in my HONEST opinion, that is a severe and profound neglect of one of their most popular IPs, and something that literally no other game in the world seems to go through

I bet Robin's rocket launcher will fetch over 1 million keys at auction (if he decides to sell it). The main thing is that his account is not hacked by scammers...

Robin Walker is the guy who first made Team Fortress he made the mod he made Team Fortress classic and Team Fortress 2 he helped design this game I believe he stopped working on this about 10 years ago if you're interested about him you can look up stuff like the valve rocket launcher the valve golden frying pan
