Hi again,I'm loving ur robin and birds painting and all the flowers and u definitely slower n these.i will watch all of these and hopefully start painting again after eight years.fantastic love,Tracy.
You make everything look so EASY! I just bought my first watercolor pencils so I can try painting like you. Keep up the good work, you're an excellent teacher. I'm going to try this card for Mother's Day.
I love it. I was out in my back yard watercoloring the temp was 73 degrees. We won't have many of those day left here in Texas. My husband was with and he asked if I was painting Starry Night. Do to it was getting dark and I had the Texas sky for a model. I told him no. I was painting the birch tree card you showed use. I think it was time to call it a night and put the brush down. Thank you for listing the colors for is that helps a lot. Also thank you for teaching me to paint. It has opened a whole new world to for me. And now I see the world with painter's eyes. And ask myself what color would I need to make that sky tree bird and the list goes on. So thank you for that. Please keep them coming.
Once again Lindsey you've made a masterpiece! I love the way you teach and your joyous nature. Thank you so much for all that you're putting out for "us" to work along with you. God Bless
Hi I loved the robin watercolour painting. I have done Oils & Acrylics but never Watercolour. I am not great at drawing though, but I just found your tutorials on RU-vid. I am very glad I did. Great videos. Thanks for sharing Geraldine
Thanks for working upside down! What an artist! It was so easy to watch you this way. Also, I appreciated the dryer segment cause I'm always wondering if I'm doing it right. :-)
Love your card. I like splatters, too. They seem to add depth to the picture so it doesn't look so flat. I'm still working on that "less is more" thing. LOL That is soooo hard for me. I did your cosmos card four times yesterday trying to give it a lighter touch and never got it quite right. I did the chick and eggs card for Easter and used gauche because I had erased the lines so many times I couldn't get all the stray lines off the paper. It came out really well, for me. TFS
I think you mistakenly said that in reverse. If your painting is still cold then it's still wet. Not dry. I thought that mmight be confusing to a beginner out there. Love all your videos and your humor.
Oh Lindsay I got my bow maker, It smells and looks so beautiful! I am so pleased and excited to use it !! We are in the middle of construction and so it will be a few weeks but I am just siting here looking at it hahaha tell Hubbins thank you so much and thank you I think I am gonna be lovin it.
wow, i loved the flat brush for leaves idea!!!!!i´ll surely try this tomorrow!!!!! For the splattering at end ( which i also love to do), why don´t you try doing it with an old toothbrush? that´s how i do it, and the result is so nice!!!!!Cheers!
wauw, I would never go for a bird, they seem too hard to draw, but your video makes me wanna go for it :D I suppose it's about not seeing the whole bird, but seeing the forms in the bird, oval, circle and so forth! Amazing...and by the way, I love the splatter!! and the very very light colors for the background just hit it too...
I love all your work so much you are a very creative personn and I love your channel. Sorry for my English I'm French ;-) thank you for sharing your art. Love
Umm, another lovely video and another supergreat Picture! Thanks for sharing! Just a quick question; When you say the paper is cool to the touch, it is dry, and I think I remember you saying the opposite, that if it is cool to the touch, it is still wet.. Which one is it? *confused*
Wild Violets are my favorite flower and I can't ever find much with them on anything. Have you ever painted one? If you do I'd love to buy it from you. :-)
