I just saw Bobcat the other night and he had a lot of awesome Robin Williams stories and did the best impersonation of him. I met him after the show and he was super cool as hell.
Robin Williams, despite his antics was one of the best actors I have ever seen. And Bobcat ALWAYS cracks me up. Two incredible talents. RIP Robin Williams. :(
Man... I just stumbled on this in 2021 and I needed this so much! RIP Robin. You are one of the greatest of all time and Bobcat, freaking classic. Love them together
Bobcat had some cringe choice words for kinision that was super unappreciative. Calling him a misogynist. And yea in any other context it would be funny in a joking way, but he went on CNN to do it and of course they took it serious.
This was a great clip. This is a great way to remember Robin Williams. Not the depressing way. And Bobcat is funny asf. The two of them together put me in tears 😂🤣😂🤣😂
This is the first time I havent felt deeply sad. I googled bobcat and paused when I seen Robin. I don't feel as sad because I'm drunk a bit to be honest. But it feels a lot better than my throat tightening up with pain from seeing him 😔
+AleqsH I'm with you on this, normally I am not really hit by a celeb passing on, but in Robin's case it almost feels as if my favourite uncle is gone.
it's interesting to see bobcat's version of being "out of character" when he was still somewhat in-character. out of character, he's utterly normal.... one of the smoothest cats around
No matter what kind of mood I'm in Robin makes me smile. Funniest man EVER! BG seems like a cool dude too. Great to see that their careers didnt get in the way of friendship
Rare, brilliant, comic genius, coupled with heart the size of which we will never fully appreciate. The world is dimmer with his passing. My condolences to his loved ones. Robin, you will be missed!!
It's mad isn't it!!. You watch robin interviews..always cry with laughter and then in a moment it hits you....he's no longer with us!. I honestly will never get over it!!, such a incredibly sad loss!!, What an amazing man he was!!. All we can do is honour him..by continuing the laughter, pass on the joy of his movies and his legacy to the next generation and so on!!. Rest in Peace Robin xx
This had me smiling with tears in my eyes.... God I loved Robin Williams so much, he really was the greatest man, I really wish I could have spent time with him and talked to him, just as a normal person, he must have felt such pressure to Be the guy who's always funny, I miss him so much as I am sure we all do. 😢 Rest in Peace, Robin, you will always be remembered and will forever be in my heart... Nahnoo Nahnoo, Shazbatt ❤️❤️❤️
This world seems so empty without your comedy and acting you are the best at what you do hope your not feeling alone anymore and your resting till you come around again. Miss you rw
Being from San Francisco and working in TV production and theater, I was fortunate enough to meet Robin Williams a handful of times. He even subbed in as acting teacher for one of my college classes once. I am also a fan of Bobcat from back in the day and saw his live stand-up show way back in the late 80s at The Warfield. He is hilarious and under-rated, I think. I remember at this particular show, he improvised an impression of Bono from the band U2 and it was absolutely spot-on. On another note - (I hate to be morbid, because I've always loved Robin Williams and like mots of the world. miss him greatly), it gave me shivers at about 3:30 - 3:49 when they made the off-hand remarks: ("How did Daddy die?" and..."For those who don't know, it's when you use a belt,..." etc.) was an unsettling and dark premonition...R.I.P. Robin.
Bobcat is so much more talented than most people know. Bobcat still thinks that Robin did him a favor as his friend to star in his movie ...and he did... but it was a well written and well directed movie and did very well.
I love Shakes the Alcoholic Clown. I want to find it again. Do you remember the scene in the beginning with La Wanda Page? She played Aunt Esther on Sanford and Son.
First thing I've seen since his leaving us...but this has made it so sad an great. at least we can remember him so vividly through so many great pieces. I always loved how fast he spoke!!
This is the first time that I’ve watched a Robin Williams clip all the way through. Every time I try to watch something I feel just so sad all over again. It was like the day that I found out he passed all over again, but once you get into watching an awesome clip just like this one I can’t help but laugh and just feel good inside listening to Robin. He was one of my favorite actors he will always be one of my favorite actors and you’ll just never find another one like him. Rest in peace Robin you will always be missed and loved and a little bit about bobcat he is just so outrageously crazy and fun and of course so awesome. Just watched a clip the other day of him on David letterman when he was just 20 years old. He was crazy then and he’s crazy now and we love him for it
I'm not the type who gets upset over celebrity deaths.. but Robin Williams passing was/is such a sad thing for me. All the stories about his character, generosity and desire to lift people up around him... he was a gem and he will always be missed by so many.
The host should have brought up the fact that the two are in "Shakes the Clown" together. Robin Williams has a small part as a mime instructor and is totally hilarious.
I'd be interested in seeing an alternate version with Philip Seymour Hoffman. Him and Robin were wonderfully ambitious actors, morphing and changing all the time.
