yes it's possible to avoid haste even when he appears and chases, YOu can switch the nearby lever to get rid of haste and get the timer back up. I was almost killed by Haste while he was chasing me
Fun fact: this entity is a reference to the game “spooky’s scary mansion” -to take the dead- is replaced by -no time left- (aka Specimen 9) But these tapes are very helpful for who doesn’t know about the hunt fully! :D
I think these kinds of videos would be cooler if they were targeting towards people who related to the floors they're found in (e.g. the backdoor, for employees of the hotel)
Very useful, went 20 rooms in a row without a switch and died to a lookman that didn't even spawn in visually before my health hit zero The REAL trick is if your time is 10 seconds or lower and you find a switch... that means you're perfectly safe and should first open the next door (in case it has a switch too) and loot the room you're currently in before getting your 1 minute of safe time when the entity's closing in on you.
Information regarding -Specimen 09- Dread is very fascinating to the human, as there is the fact that -blud literally noclips- Dread can phase through walls and solid objects, which makes him more of a... hallucination, rather than an entiry... a UI element of some sort.
there are a few “meme-y” references to undertale in doors (e.g. the in plain sight badge description is “Quick, behind that conveniently shaped lamp!” and the background of elevator jam is the same as the background of hotel) so i think haste is supposed to be “ONE MORE PUN, AND I’LL BE DONE!!”
The entity vacuum is a door but on the side, it is nothing but a black void. The entity has the ability to suck up people and trap people in. The door will appear on random rooms knowing people will explore without even thinking. If a player opens the door walking in without even realizing, the player will get sucked up in to a hollow void leaving the player suffocating and dying. The hollow void has no oxygen. To avoid vacuum, if a player opens the door without walking or running to check, the player won’t be affected only if the player is far from here. The player gets sucked up if the player is close to the vacuum. To warn them tell if the door is a vacuum.
0:33 haste appears when there is 10 seconds left, then the vision effects come up, and then he chases the players until they gets them, or they somehow get lucky enough to flick the lever.

Information About Haste: the said entity is 2D and has hollow eyes and a really wide mouth and is red the said entity only appears if the time limit hits 0 and you will see red hazy colors and tunnel vision if you want to survive said entity you need to find a latch that adds extra 1 minute of ½ minute thank you for following up with this video tape have a great run and do not die
i would actually love it if you could switch between seeing guiding/curious light messages and these tapes. This genuinely look slike something that would be in Doors.
It would have been great to see haste coming very slowly and when the tape was ending, speeding up to scare the viewer That would have been a neat detail
Theory: haste is from a really old tape from like 1900 about a mythical monster and the tape got cursed and haste became real and when he found the backdoors he decided to stay there
I remember speedrunning Backdoors, and when time was out i reached the last door, tried to get in the Doors section but i missclicked, and tried to do it again. I thought i will be late, but somehow i got in time. RIGHT IN THE MOMENT WHEN I GOT KILLED. So i got death screen and win screen at the same time.
Oh btw something interesting is that if you are playing 2+ servers if a player is in death cutscene other players can switch the levers to bring him back to life of some sort
There is a new entity in the original gamemode its name? Dread. How you get the new entity: there are now clocks around the hotel wait until it strikes midnight before door 12 and then… *you feel a sense of dread.* now you’re a goner but there is a way you can survive. Either get to door 13 or use a crucifix. A screen effect it also applied letting you know that you are a goner. (You can use this if you’re gonna make a video about this entity.)
How you can know how to know when he its coming First when you got a lot of time you cant here enything, less time you have more loud you heard the music, when the time gets to 5 you can start heard hes screams, when the time gets to 2-1, you can see him lot in the distance, when time gets 0, the screan turns yellow with a red zone and you can heard hes screams lots more loud, eve not letting you heard or see the lights flick or blitz, when the scream change to this colors he become little more faster every time he comes more close to a player, there is only 2 ways to scape from him and 1 way to avoid the kill, the ways to scape him its turn a lever to get time, this will automatically turn everything normal again, the other way its scape trough door -0000 at the end of all, the way to avoid it its freezing your game, this can only be done in a pc, if you want to know how to do it look on youtube
I dont think he comes from a random direction, i think he comes from the spawnpoint / room -50 then goes to the player instead of running to the room like other entities normally would
Idea: Greed (Super Hard Mode) He is a giant purple mouth with razor blade teeth He appears when you collect too much gold He instakills you if you don't have shield He can't be crucified (I think)
