It’s crazy how much people think something is irrelevant or dying just because THEY don’t engage with it anymore

Roblox isn’t dying, the games are getting worse and more cash grabby, yet the player base continues to grow and enable this. I would say it is pretty dry for people looking for games that don’t just want your money.

I grew up playing dragon ball rage and simulators and now that I’m older, I don’t enjoy those types of games anymore and enjoy games that are harder to come across. So I agree that Roblox as a whole is not dying, it’s just that our tastes have changed since we were kids.

When you were talking about bubble guppies and the shows we used to watch as toddlers and babies, MAN that took me back. Bubble Guppies, Team Umizoomi, Dr Mcstuffins, etc. It was a good childhood. And now seeing all the shows that kids are watching now? I'm glad I'm a gen z and not gen alpha. Every time I got to a person's house that has kids. All I see is Coco melon. No Dora the Explorer, no Andy's wild adventures. Just Coco melon. And that show is prime brain rot man. It's just repeating the same nursery rhymes we learned recycled with some mediocre animation. The only reason it's so used is because you can find it on RU-vid for free. 😔

I do agree with the statement, so many games today are not for me. Learned this when BG and RNG games were coming out like crazy. But I do feel like some of the quality has worsened since devs just make easy games that get a huge payout instead of making something with passion, but that’s just me. 6:07 really made me feel old when you named classics like these. the platform is dying, just in quality (which is what i assume a lot/most people mean when they say its dying). although i dont think the games are getting worse, i think bad games ARE getting pushed more which is why its harder to find good games. games like blox fruits, sols rng, and almost any simulator are just objectively bad and fail as games, but since those are the main types of games that get pushed its just harder to find better stuff. even if u want to say the games are made for kids, they actually take advantage of kids by pumping their games with micro transactions and encouraging them to leave their pc's on 24/7 and rack up their parent's electric bills. they arent made for kids, they are just objectively bad and take advantage of kids willing to play/pay for anything, so thats why the game feels dry (keyword feels).

I mean, the thing is, that most players are kids, thats why most games that are getting thousands of players are aimed at kids. Kids don't care about genuinely good games, they just want to have fun. Games like shylbyte(Which you should definitely check out its an extremely well made bullet hell) barely get 10 players because kids just are not interested in them.

Sols rng was in my recommended page when it had around 500 players and i still have touched it, because gambling is just not my type of dopamine or serotonin i forgot wich one it is

I feel like a sole reason why people say it's dying its because of the quality of the games that are being released. The front page is engulfed with simulators and rng games. The anime side of roblox is either boring bandit beaters or cash grabs. I just hope the platform will become better as the years come by.

He's not wrong the only games i play anymore is jujutsu shenanigans,demonfall and type soul it just seems like all the games that our generation enjoys are few and far between.

Roblox aint dying just the OLD creative roblox is dying, back in 2015-2019 there were new anime based games coming out every month and there were literally just bandit beating, quest spammy, move spammy games but we loved it because at that time it was new and fresh, eventually it got boring doing the same thing plus with games like GPO making visuals matter and rogue making bandit beating a negative thing, now we just want high quality games with good gameplay but those RARELY exist.

Currently most people are on deepwoken and type soul. The issue is everyone wants games as high quality as the ones they used to enjoy when they were they were children. the worst part is that Infernasu is absolutely right about roblox! In my opinion the roblox games are dying when it comes to their creativity, playability etc. The life span of games is being impacted by it. It's getting worse and it's been like that for a while now. The player counts are fucking insane on some of the games, yet they are mostly complete slop when it comes to quality. Some of the games have just brain dead devs behind them too (not pointing fingers). All of this results in same crap every month for long periods of time, sustaining the brain rot trends we see now (rng bull crap) rarely seeing new original concepts or mechanics being introduced to the platform. This wont change unless the developers do.

The game isn't dying its the devs. We are getting more and more cash grabs, Brain Rot Simulators, and Copies of other games. Everything is either brain dead now, Wanting maximum pay checks, or makes basically the same game as others. No one out here has anymore creative ideas especially in the anime scene. Doesn't help that alot of devs I am seeing are starting to quit or just lose interest in their work

tbh, I agree for what you saying but the games i mostly played was around cc games and old games like god of cubes or cubes or WTV it was caled. I always fell inlove with the concept of unique games but now its just copy and paste but different genres with the same coding

I used to love shooter games like fortnite or arsenal in roblox, but now? I dont even play them at all i dont like em anymore but im gonna be absolutely honest fortnite sometimes has such mid seasons that are just so boring that u dont wanna play it, that god season was pretty peak i liked it, but it still didnt make me play the game more. honestly, i feel like the only way roblox could die is if they get shutdown or something that is inescapable. roblox is targetted towards kids (even though it doesn't feel like it sometimes) and kids like flashy colors and stuff, and due to roblox being a platform with a wide variety of games, kids will flock towards playing the games basically making roblox immortal

Before we had variety of games like rogue lineage, aba, and other stuff but now every game just wanna copy off of each other to make money like simulators, tycoons, rng games, etc. 😊😊
