That "test my game" hack is actually extremely dangerous. A friend of mine had that happen to them and he had to reinstall his entire PC because all his passwords and stuff got hacked. The rat actually sends your chrome password list and everything to the hacker and he had his crypto password and such locked up in a password manager too which apparently got hacked as well. He had to change passwords EVERYWHERE and his entire pc was compromised. It took him about a week before he was back and actually got his discord account back too.

I'm a lead engineer for a company I own that creates Roblox games, and I get these scams all of the time. Funny thing is that people from my *own* server try to give me these scams, and on top of that they ignore the fact that my bio says *programmer* and *Uni CS Student*. The fake screenshot shows me pretending to be a... beginner graphic design artist. Fucken' hell man.
I'm sure ANYONE that's played Roblox before has either witnessed, fallen victim to or attempted to have been involved with a scam. Fuckin crazy how mental it is across the whole platform

The Roblox hackers aren't good, Roblox staff just doesn't care enough to implement any actual security. It's like saying "It's impressive this guy managed to get through my £30,000 security system!" when in fact, you didn't even arm it and all he did was walk through your open door.
Had an experience where I was in an emotionally vulnerable state and my friend texted me at the perfect time. I explained to them what was going on and their first response was lol and then they asked me to test their game. I almost fell for it untill I realized that this person would never be so insensitive and when the hell did they start developing games? So I started hurling insults at him and then he eventually just kept telling me to end myself. Took him a while to block me lol.
one time this person I had as a friend on steam tried to scam me, I didn't know them but after I realized it was a scam I got rid of everyone I had as friends except those who I knew IRL
10:55 yes Discord can do that , a server i was in just for the meme section got nuked and i actually got a warning that i should look out for server i join etc or my account could risk being nuked too
As a ROBLOX player myself, I can safely say that these type of scams are ultimately the reason why ROBLOX struggles nowadays, and all there's left to do is make videos about the problem.
Hard disagree.The reason Roblox is struggling is because of how corrupt their way of paying young developers is. They're literally making their devs work for free. Not only that, but a bunch of predators are on Roblox discord servers. I'm not even gonna mention the Roblox black markets and how there is hidden gambling in the game with items. There's a scam on Roblox that allows someone to obtain your login information via sending the file for your uploaded clothing textures. They'll offer you Robux to "use it" and ask for the .RBX file or something. It's pretty sneaky, watch out
I literally used to have a link that would send me your entire adres, credit card, account info and affiliated accounts. Purely because someone on roblox bullied me
These scammers are the type of people to use the "Mr." Title on inanimate objects e.g If these scammers got done washing their dishes they would say "Thank you Mr. Dishwasher"
2:08 This exact thing happened to my friend and the dude was messaging me about a game he was making. Unfortunately for the hacker, I do actually game dev as a hobby so here I am, asking this guy questions. I knew he wasn't my friend from the first message because he doesn't open a conversation like that. It helps when you've known the person for so long that the way they say hello can give them away.

its honestly insane how people can fall for shitty scams. When I was 11 I was really into tf2 and thought of a way to scam people by uploading a video on youtube a tutorial to get any items and hats they wanted. All they needed to do was email me their login info. You have no idea how many login info I got from that. Please dont kill me I was 11 years old I didnt even have a single hat.
