thanks I'm making a game inspired by Write a letter and this actually helped me for the audio changing in different locations instead of writing tons of confusing scripts, I'm using tampered TY!
is it possible for parts to block the sound so lets say im in a room with a open door and the sound comes out through the door not through the wall because in my game you can go upstairs but hear sounds from the floor bellow and that is super annoying please help me.
I legit want this so bad cause it would help me make fire alarms more realistic but I can't code at all. Also I think it would be cool if you could make sounds play in certain directions and angles so it could play in a room but fade out when you are behind or exiting a room. Like play through the room but not beside the walls of the room.
bru im having the same problem no matter what mode i set it to or what i set the rolloffmax and min distance to, its able to be heard like MILES apon MILES away.
No, this is completely unrelated to the doppler effect, this is a sound losing volume with distance, the different methods are just how it loses volume. The doppler effect is a change in frequency/pitch from movement toward or away from the listener.
@@pixelapse9613 I’ve been deving on the platform for years, I’m trying to make a successful game before I move onto UE5 since I never really found any, currently I’m working on a gun engine
