I like to think void doesn’t originate from hell but rather just our universe. Calamity is what’s representative of hell due to its obvious demonic design. Voids cosmic design could relate it to our own universe possibly and that golden teased thing could be the representation of heaven
But john said there are 7 total demons representing hell, i mean calamity and void, the yellow one might just be a few of the unknown marks and demons emerging in tdx future do yeah just my thought
In the text for regular games, advisor refers to us as “commander”, however in the tower battles event the commander refers to us as “cadet” hinting at us being part of the tower battles time
Random Thought but what if the TB event is the past being rewritten? Assuming the timeline is TB -> TDX and in the TB event in TDX we’re going back in time would that mean we would have rewritten the timeline, adding things like the GDA before they were meant to exist. That could explain the GDA logo being added to TB maps in TDX and also add interesting lore implications to future game modes. It would be cool to figure out the timeline of all TB and TDX game modes to each other as well as maybe TBB and Criminality.
Void's theme song implies he devourers and tortures gods, I think he might just be a force of nature trying to bring the world back to nothingnes. I would say he is more like Unicron in some aspects.

Here’s my spin on it. In Wave 000000, there is one enemy named “patient zero”. Obviously this means that he was the first zombie to ever exist, likely created by M and J due to them being placed in the same segment. The virus outbreaks from the lab that contained patient zero, and people started getting hurt. The billboard in Borderlands details a team encountering the virus. It all eventually leads to the events of TB, where everyone from everywhere joined in to beat back the virus. We can say this because the towers in TB range from soldiers, to mercenaries, to people who just hunt. Somewhere within this, the void comes along. Due to him having control over the zombies, it’s likely the virus is physically linked to him. This then leads to the events of TB, the player fights the infection and banishes the void. This is where TDX comes in. I already theorized that they are in the same universe due to the revived boss 1s and 2s in the normal game being the same as the ones from TB. After beating the void, the commander forms the GDA, in case either the void comes back, or a new threat arises. The GDA is way more organized, all of them have standard issue equipment instead of random weapons they found along the way. During this time, the void returns a second time to finish what he started. The GDA is way more organized, and easily defeats him in the TB event. The GDA then start researching new weapons and new military tech, as they thought this threat would be reoccurring. This leads to Dr. Xenon finding the Calamity stone, turning on the GDA, and forms the events of regular TDX. My hands hurt.
Ok heres my theory, In tower battle normal mode,this time of a year is when gda wasent yet so advanced[towers like g ranger didnt exsits],we were attacked by the void and xenon was at the edge of betraying the gda.... Now in tb normal mode,commander calls us "cadet" so far we dont know whose this "cadet" is,but we do know commander was the one who destoried plague doctor,rev plauge,mk i and mk ii Now during this xenon betrayed the gda,and used the erdicators that were meant to protect the gda[prventing voids attack ] to go aginest them,during this event assmble line was raided by the gda, we can see that the gda stole the stealth technology,in the event of raiding,either mk 3 died or his reactor was too unstabled,so the hanging erd parts in assmble line is prob erd mk 3, Xenon discovered the calamity rock/energy,she really want alot of it,so xenon sacfirced dr.m to make a deal with calamity Xenon regrets sacfricing dr.m,so he revived void and gave his army the sheild technology,they made a deal void will revive dr.m and destorying the gda Endless mode is the event where gda was heavily attacked,this is also the time calamity attemps to kill off the gda,after gda almost barely survive the ambush of xenons, void comes in and tried to kill the gda[we can see that in tb nightmare void said our defense are weak,and in endless mode our towers gets killed alot so tb nightmare is after endless] at this time commander was also gone aswell to recover the defense,leading cadet to defend alone So this is my whole time line theres also more theorys i wanna make up like endbringer being the guardian of calamity[look at endbringers eye and calamitys eye very similar],hope i can give you some thoughts[honestly theres alot of missing plot which i cant get enough info on it]
There one dialogue I didn't see is the commanders didn't notice there a mult x enemy that dr xenon didn't tell the commander in tower battles. I think the tower battles is connect to tdx timeline.
If you notice there’s not a erad 3. I think that erad 3 is still with the gda/ didnt rebel with the others and will be a tower or help later (kinda like monster from tds frost invasion) it could also be the war machine tower (this is very far fetched tho)

Good theory, however there are so many problems with the event being in the past. If theoretically, we go into the orb and we teleport to the past to kill void, one question is why? In the past we already killed void and if we didn’t, the GDA wouldn’t have formed and the world would have fallen. If someone in the present brought back void, why would void make a void blight (black orb) to go to the past to kill void if it’s just part of the timeline to kill void. That would mean we would have to fight 2 voids AT ONCE💀💀💀💀
So are you going to gloss over the fact that commander refers to Dr xenon giving him info on enemies implying she was still working with the GDA? Or how we're referred to as cadet?
It's simply alternate history; the first time around, events played out in TB normally, leading to xenon's betrayal which leads to the events of tdx. In the event, we go back in time, we didn't need to do this for the GDA to win, because they would win anyways, but the GDA going back assists in their own victory. It's not like the GDA were knowingly going back to the past, they were just going to the Voidheart to try and stop the threat it posed in the present day. Xenon could have also simply sent some troops back to the past, we know she does because mystery bosses, predators and eradicators also are there. (although an argument can be made that MB'S Aren canon cuz calamity can spawn) it doesn't have to be this crazy argument, but yeah bruh the game itself explicitly tells you everything you need to know
Cool theory, but, why in hell are you using G Ranger in TB mode? You know the hiddens alongside their boss counterparts have insane ammounts of laser resistance right?if your not using slammer for early defence use operator
I noticed some plot holes in tb nightmare like a 500k zombie? from easy and elite mode? or how mystery boss can spawn eradicators and revived plague doctors or… APEX PREDATOR!
On the TB map, the one with the big wall on the other end of the uhh ad thing like billboard theres some lore its about some story where some soldiers met something i dunno
I think the entire tb event came after xenon left an in the present because eradicators and apex predators can appear in the event. Instead of the gda traveling into the past I think the void used the void hearts to teleport him and his army from hell into the tb maps where void teams up with xenon and the event takes place.

@@NotOofLegacy that's such a wierd thing to connect, the different zed levels says m1-5, clearly stating the sequence is referring to what verion of the zed it is. I don't see why anyone would put the first letter of their name before/instead of a version marking.
Personally I feel that there is also a lore explanation for tb nightmare and originally I thought maybe void got revived but that present day thing works better void past nightmare void present
