For me, he started imagining he had a whole life with a house and a wife that took care of him because of the traumas, and the notes on the wall saying "I remember seeing her" is because he saw Emily in the mental health facility but he forgot she was a nurse cause he was dreaming. If Emily is represented as Jane it's because I think he's looking for a mother figure, like he said in the true ending or smth like that and Emily/Jane is that mother figure he doesn't have cuz we can clearly see she's taking care of him and supervising him. I also think that in the bad ending, he never discovered/remembered he was a sick kid and killed himself to escape the tunnel of memories so that's why it's still written Jim and not Jimmy, because he still thinks he is an adult, oh and I saw someone saying that Jim and Jimmy were two different people but I think that Jim is juste the name he created for his older self because Jimmy sounds childish

That roblox game MADE ME CRY THE FIRST TIME I PLAYED IT,I CHOOSED THE GUN BECAUSE IT SAID "take the gun and shoot it" i didnt know it was himself i sobbed litteraly it was so sad

Not to be that type of dude, but in the bad ending, it says he lived through 1955-2006 when he shot himself on the gravestone. So doing the math Jim is really 51 years old. Edit: Unless after u posed they updated the bad ending or something (Yes i did like my own comment lolz)

My theory is that the dementia and schizophrenia came after the car crash in which his parents died and he tried to kill himself with a gun after to escape his predicament which landed him in the mental hospital. he shoots himself in his dreams as a way to cope with not having died when he tried to in the real world

i didn't reply sooner I was visiting some family members anyways it kind of reminds me of a game called "close your eyes" or somthing like that. The game is about a boy who suffering from a sickness. And he unfortunately passed away. and he went through this type of Judgement Day like experience where he went through his life. And when he's going through his life he made some parts up like becoming an artistand growing up in an adult life and marrying his childhood bestfriend. unfortunately that was a lie. and the truth is that he was just a normal child who failed his piano recital, saw his cat die and got eaten by a wild dog and had an argued ment with his bestfriend/crush. Edit: my bad the game that I mentioned was called "before your eyes"

Wasn’t a good game. maybe it is bc I firstly got the true ending, but the moment you think yk the (very sad, yet classic/boring) story, it turned out to be all a dream/not real. Idk but it wasn’t scary nor a good story.
