Hey! I was the Robo you met suiting up! It was awesome getting to talk with you, man. I really appreciate all the inspiration you've given me to do something I've wanted to do for over a decade now.
Such an incredible suit. From the detail to the paint job. Way to tough it out for the fans. You had Robocop down. From the walk to the expression. If that doesn’t show passion then I don’t know what does. Well done and thanks for sharing your experience.
Good day Chris- brilliant work and performance by you both. What a marvelous gift to able to bring this pleasure to others. Nice treat appearance with our movie icon of beloved films John Rhys-Davies.
how are you not smiling the whole time having all that love for your hard work!!! I do kinda hate you for inspiring me to build mine as currently sanding mine hahaha
@@ChrisBoshProps only kidding on the hate. I do find it a little therapeutic.... in short bursts 😅, I have an idea but getting the auto 9 looking awesome for photos if your interested.
This looked like so much fun! Robo stole the show, as always - your character, with his special effects and sounds, was the baddest mo'fo there LOL. You know you are da shyte when you come in with your own theme music. Tooooo good!! 😊
Your robocop walk has improved biggly 👍 And the theme playing pushes this experience way over the top. You have raised the bar for all cosplayers a great deal. Sick video 🤙
Glad I got my pic with you, you had the absolute most accurate, best costume there! I hope you are back next year! I must have taken 10 pics of you. Your sound FX really brought it up another level. GREAT JOB!!!!
Ohhh My gosh! This was amazing. The way You walked, moved around, the way You posed for the camera and, the sound effects the suit produced. By the way people's faces were when You walked by and Your Wife such a good sport. Very nice and taking pictures for them. Awesome. Very awesome 💙👍🔥💯😀
Throughout the video, I sat and smiled seeing the happy faces of the people you took pictures with. Chris, you and your wife did a great job and made a great costume that makes everyone happy! Thank you both for giving us the opportunity to admire such beauty! Maybe in the future you will try to make an ED-209 =D
I was so surprised to walk around the corner after hearing the Robo music and there you were, I knew it had to be the Robocop suit guy on RU-vid ! I am so glad you had as much fun as I did, the highlight of MegaCon for me was meeting you and William Shatner !
Wow, I love watching these videos of you in your robo suit. I just recently started watching your videos, I'm a big fan and I think you are the coolest guy around. Thank you for these videos.
Hey Chris, great video! I really like how most of the people who had pictures with you respected your suit and didn't put their hands all over it. Also, I think I watch these videos just for the Bloodsport portion at the end. lol It looks like you and the Mrs had a fun time and I'm glad it was a success!
Imagine going to a Convention to have the cutting edge of OCP Security Concepts show up for a Nuke bust. It would be great if there was a Bob Morton or Officer Lewis Cosplayer to show up for a duet. Even Clearence Boddicker would be great. RoboCop is one of my favorite movie hero's, I have the NECA RoboCop on my wall. RoboCop, do you have a message for the kids at home?
I'm always exicted when a new video pops up 🤣 The one thing that is REALLY cool, is the amazement in the eyes of all those people around you. The exact same thing like in the first movie where he is revealed. This is SUCH a cool outfit to showcase at events. It's at a whole different level than most of the other outfits. You will always stick out, which is really awesome!
Still totally awesome. It's like a movie or TV Show or something. The suit itself with all the bells and whistles makes the movie magic and it looks so real as if possibly OCP existed and the ROBOCOP program. That 3-D Printer did a major job along with the blueprints and your hard work. My mind is totally blown. You did an amazing job with the suit and everything. The crowds are loving it and I think it's awesome too. 😎👍
Thank you for your constant support and noticing the hard work. I tried as hard as I could to make it look like it was a Robocop suit right out of the movie. Still not perfect but that was the goal.
@@ChrisBoshProps You're welcome and you succeeded it looks like a professionally made suit dine by a big Hollywood Studio. Keep at the 3-D printing it's a fantastic piece of work of modern day art. 👍
It was nice meeting you at MEGACON. Your attention to detail and hard work show when you look at the suit. Thank you for the photo. I'm the Din Djarin at 22:41.
Hi Chris I'm glad you guys had fun in Orlando here is another suggestion customize your metal harness for your suit to be screwed into maybe that will help and prevent you from getting hurt again
Awesome detail…My 9 year old son was one of the people getting a photograph; it was the highlight of the Con for him. He wants me to get a 3D printer so he can be Robo Cop Jr, lol. Thx for letting us know about channel…made the elevator ride educational.
Yeap I amplified them on the soundboard because I knew how crowded it was going to be watching past Megacon videos. I tried to come prepared and not get drowned out.
Chris, you and your wife did a beautiful job! I'm tempted to write a novel here about how amazed and inspired I am watching this. Really loved your pic with John Ryse Davies, I'm a HUGE Indiana Jones and Lord of The Rings fan! Fantastic to see you posing with the Police Officer's, that was awesome 👍. I could have watched all 3 hours! I guess you'll have to do a bit of engineering problem solving with the straps. Sorry that happened...but you soldierd on. Respect 😎🤘. I've never been to a Con, but you've really inspired me, I'm going to Montreal Comicon this summer! It's a bucket list thing for me. Thanks again for your channel, and I'm looking forward to your progress of the Proton pack! 🖖😁🤘🇨🇦🍻
Hey Colin hearing your inspired is why I do RU-vid and inspires me to keep going so the feeling is mutual. I'm happy to hear your going to a comic con. I hope you have an amazing and the most memorable time. Thanks for your kind words and motivation.
Love it, love it, love it. I have the same feeling when dressed in my Mando and stormtrooper kit, the buzz it causes is addictive. Also credit to your partner, she sounds so supportive. I often wonder how my wife puts up with the nonsense of creating screen accurate suits but it wouldn’t be possible without their help and patience. I said a while back I’m making the Robocop suit as my next build and your videos always keep me wanting to achieve it. Is there any room to fit small fans in the helmet to reduce the fog? Lucky with my helmets that there’s room for battery and small fan system but guess it’s a bit tighter with the Robocop lid. All the best 👍
Oh that sucks man! I would have loved to meet you....maybe next time. It's funny you say that, the few hours I was there I was surprised I didn't see a single Iron Man. I must have just missed you.
@@SaturdayMorningProps No sir I think I'm done with cons for awhile but nothing concrete yet because I change my mind quite often. It would be pretty hard for any con to top that Orlando Megacon experience. That con was just next level awesome.
What an amazing suit, it even has sound effects!!! 😳 WOW, very, very clever with the sound effects!!!💯👍 I am glad you enjoyed Megacon for the first time!! It's one of the largest cons in the state of Florida, I really enjoy attending this convention. I could not attend this year, but I can tell you this con gets VERY crowded and busy on the weekend. Last year, Saturday was absolutely INSANE!!! Standing room only, especially at the dealer's room!!! I am glad you enjoyed the con!!😁
I agree with you 110% about "suffering to have fun". As a fellow Robocop cosplayer as well, I've been and done that, especially since my suit is a Bruce Hansing cast, done in fiberglass. If yours is 3D printed, mine is just as heavy and definitely more. Sorry about your knee. So glad you've met someone inspired by you at the con, that is a plus. My only criticism is that you've been holding the gun in the wrong hand, should be on the right, though. Other than that, you've survived and done fantastic!
Thanks man! Holding the gun with the left hand was intentional, I have the sound switches in my right glove, so holding the gun in the same glove as the switches is no bueno. They are way too hard to activate with my left hand so I had to make a compromise. I guess I could have mentioned that in the video but totally forgot haha. I appreciate you!
Hey Chris you came all the way here to Florida , , I hope you had tons of fun man , , , , I still think you should craft a life-sized inflatable ED-209 , 😸👍 oh did you craft Samus Aran armor for your wife yet ???
Thanks for your comment, it was the most fun I've had at a comic con! My wife is the camera girl, she might have a hard time with a Samus suit. I appreciate your comment!
@@ChrisBoshProps I'm glad it was amazing time , ,take her measurements and make the Samus Armor bonus points if you incorporate NERF suction dart launcher into the Samus arm 👍 remember part of the joy of cosplay is discovering the mobility limits of an awesome costume 😸👍 great luck to you man 🏆 plus I totally dig your Ghostbusters gear 🤩😁✨👍👍
omg some of those ladies really shouldnt be wearing skimpy clothes.... im gonna hurl lol. great event thanks for sharing. we need someone to make an ed209 suit
Ok next I want to see you remove the helmet with a power drill and walk around like it's the third act wearing the head/face prosthetic. Don't worry about the chin guard, nobody will notice. 😆
Chris, by any chance... were you at Atlanta Comic Con? I've heard one of my 501st guys telling me he saw a Robocop, a shiny one at the convention this weekend. If it was you, I missed the chance to chat to see you in person and chat for a little bit.
@@ChrisBoshProps In fact, I confirmed you were not there, I saw a picture of the Robo that was at ATL ComicCon, and it was shiny for sure, but one of those "Robocop 2 -colored" vac-formed suits... just cool, but plain awful, things looked bigger on him and all the black gaskets all over the place, and a gun holder on his hip. 🤮
