Way too loud of a machine, doing anything really especially emptying the damn dust been.. shiit like damn jet taking off in the whole house. Then annoying pad washing BEFORE AND AFTER. TF you washing it before you been just sitting there after you washed it after the last job. 🤦🏻 Then come in the dam smell if you don't clean the docking station bord and a filter for a few days like sulfur rotten eggs. Always out the damn water too.. Gtf out of here ..
I wish that small water reservoir would look as shiny sparkling clean 1 ur later as it shows at the beginning of your video.. Noone ever mentions all the algae build up that accumulates in that little reservoir on the robot. There is no way possible to get the inside of the reservoir clean as Roborock didn't design it so people can lift the top off and get in there and rinse and clean it. They designed so people look at the reservoir in disgust wishing there wasn't so many floating clumps of slime. There is no way to even empty that stuff because there is a screen in the tiny empty hole that prevents the gross stuff from coming out. It floats around inside the reservoir, waiting to clog a hose, and preventing us from putting clean water on our floors... It takes about 6 months for mold/algae/slime to accumulate in the small water reservoir and inside the large dock water containers. I would think Roborocks expensive cleaner WOULD TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEM. ESPECIALLY SINCE ROBOROCK SAYS NO OTHER CLEANER CAN BE USED.. I would also think Roborock could design a reservoir with a flip top lid so consumers don't have to buy yet another expensive Roborock replacement part just to maintain the life of the already expensive $1600 robot! Yes I love the convience of my Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.. But PLEASE RU-vid PEOPLE who review these products.. Be honest with the some of the flaws! Noone who reviews these robots talks about the cost of maintaining the sweeper because Roborock suggests replacing this part and that part after so many hours. AND NOONE REALLY EVER TALKS ABOUT THE ALGAE/SLIMEY CLUMPS FLOATING AROUND INSIDE THE WATER RESERVOIR OR THE WATER TANKS ON THE DOCK... I don't feel like like I should have to being replacing the water tanks and reservoir every yr.. The brushes, bags and cleaner solution is enough of a on going expense.. Just saying!
How dirty is the duck after washing the mop and emptying the trash? Does it need to be manually cleaned from time to time? Also, how close to the wall is mopping going? Some say it’s not mopping close to the walls ( about 1-2 inches from the wall).
It recommends that you do a general cleaning first. Then use the robot. I feel that it's pretty efficient. I clean my hardwood floors daily. The maintenance is a little work. You have to clean weekly or it depends on how dirty your place is to start with. I wash the pad weekly. I clean everything bi-weekly. I'm not sure what you meant by duct. Sorry.
It gets close. It goes all the way to the wall. However, it may miss a deep corner because it's round. That doesn't bother me because I manually deep clean once a week or bi-weekly.
Hi thanks for asking. The water tank is not removable on the S7 Max Ultra, it's integrated with the body of the vacuum. You have to flip the vacuum to remove the mop :D
Hi, thanks for commenting. Both are exceptional vacuums on the market today. If you have enough budget then get the S8 Pro Ultra (About €600 more expensive than the S7 Max Ultra). But for most of us, the S7 Max Ultra is the perfect choice :DD
I concur, from what I see, Roborock left the double rollers just for the S8 lineup, I heard it's a lot better, but I'm not sure if it justifies the price hike. Still considering both...
I have the S7 Max V. Perfect for hard floors. If you have carpets the S8 should be better. There are tests on RU-vid comparing them.....and the S7 Max V was a better performer. S7 Max v has the camera better for obstacle avoidance. The S7 Max V mop appears to be better. S7 MAX v is also better performing on hard floors. The S8 pro ultra has a built in dryer module and dual rollers. The app has a few new features as well but the S7 Max V will probably get there. Go S7 Max V.
Water warm air drying. It's just a dryer. Zero hot water. The Omni T20 which is out cleans with hot water and also mops with it. There were issues with the Omni X1 burning out from the heater unit damaging components. I'd be sceptical of hot water "steam" and electronics don't mix ha.
