TechWalls presents the unboxing and setup video of the new Roborock S7 Robot Vacuum. Buy on Amazon: amzn.to/3pRK2Ie Full review on www.techwalls.... Disclosure: As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
Running it for the first time and compared to the older versions of robot cleaners this one doesn't get caught un the sofa or bang into walls. The one minor negative is the app won't connect to 5G internet - which means I can't use all the fancy feature but really that’s a minor issue
I watch these backwards so I can pack it back. We really need a reverse-play function for these unboxing videos. Or upload it backwards - more views ;)
How do you like it? We have 2700 sq ft carpet, tile and vinyl. One Persian cat and 1 girl. Concerned about pet hair and ability to clean carpets. Any issues with emptying the dirt bin or hair breaking or getting stuck on rollers etc? How is the maintenance? Does it auto detect when the on-board bin is full and go back to the base for a clean or does it keep cleaning but doing a poor job because the bin is full? Does the robot detect when the outside waste bin bag is full?
Thanks for your video, I've been waiting for this! Just one question - Is the main brush strong enough to not stop every few seconds for no reason ? (Even on a low pile carpet) as it was on S6 max or S5 max...
That auto-empty dock is still in development. It will work with all of their robot vacuums, so I guess it will suck from the bottom in the main brush location.
@@TechWallsReview Looks like you might need to unscrew a cover that might expose the auto empty bin? Could you do a video or does it say in the instructions? That would mean the mop can't be attached once the bin is released which is a shame.
@@TechWallsReview ok, however, it will only work with future models including the s7. The extractor bar area looks tight, so I was thinking it will suck out from the bottom of the dustbin.
@@mikecarik3102 The manual doesn't say anything but I found an air inlet under a cover on the side. The marker says it is used for self-empty bin. So I'm confident the dust will be sucked back out through the main brush. This doesn't affect mop function.
Hi, so I am thinking of the same thing, the air is going to get suck through the extractor bar area. Would be better than where the mopping pad is located so the user doesn’t have to remove the mopping plate. Thanks for sharing this unboxing video, I think you are the first to actually get the Roborock S7 🤩.
I got one and it is so stupid that I payed a lot of money and they just give us one pad. Really? And I am trying to buy more but I can’t find them anywhere.
