*Every day* I wonder if the decision to make Dominator a punk was done to contrast against Wander being a hippie and to highlight how opposite their likes and ideologies are
@@zatch6441 admittedly yeah , that was kinda the point, in the end wanders belief system failed, he was wrong and his choices almost got everyone murdered , instead haters view of doing what you want no matter the consequences lead to everyone surviving , dominator was not someone who would accept any situation that didn’t have her stand on a pile of corpses at the end of the day
Couldn't help but side with Dominator on this one. Shame how they teased us with an epic giant robot fight but Wander's pacifist ways had to prevent that.
Imagine the two of them watching Pacific Rim and thinking "Oh yay! They're making giant robots so they can give the monsters giant hugs and make them better people and OH GROP NO WHAT'S HAPPENING STOP STOP ROBOTS AND GIANT MONSTERS SHOULDN'T FIGHT"
I heavily disagree with Wander's antics in this episode, not because he chose pacifism, but because he knowingly sabotaged his team's efforts. Normally I enjoy that he chooses to win through the power of friendship, but this case he was wrong from a moral stand point. You don't join a team to force your beliefs onto other people. Either join a team and cooperate, or don't join the team and let someone else do it. It irks me that the show forced Wander into a situation where he had to be morally wrong (not to mention a wet rag and cock block), when he is the most moral character in the show.
Terror of Pirate's Cove, Foxy! But you shouldn't let your team force their beliefs on you either. You shouldn't go against your beliefs just because other people disagree.
Bear in mind, the whole point of it all anyway was the hilarity that came as a result. Did you seriously expect the team working on this episode to actually want to do a straightforward, very unambiguously violent mecha fight?
I mean, at least from this clip it seems that it would have just ended up being a vaguely violent robot fight. The entire point of robot fights are so that those involved don't ACTUALLY get hurt so you don't have to show actual bruises and stuff, and even then, this show isn't adverse to people getting hurt via ships breaking down so I don't quite get what the problem with this show having a mecha fight. Like just a bunch of cool moves that are all anime and stuff then bamf, everyone's fine due to cartoon logic, just some casual sensory stimulation for the kiddies and some stimulation for people who like giant robots. idk
On the one hand I suppose you have to admire Wander's dedication to pacifism, but there can be a point when you're too dedicated...I mean how do you prioritize "fixing roads and transporting supplies" over stopping a villain that is destroying whole planets with the intention of destroying the entire galaxy.
@@duykhangtran4406 His plan did not work... Had it been not for litelarry everyone else He would have just been killed. IN FACT it's directly his fault Dominator found the last living planet in the first place...
+lpallad1 Oh that. Nah. He learned that HOW he was going about it was wrong. He still sees the good in Dominator, and he still wants to help her become a better person. If this guy could survive thousands of years of loss and suffering, then I think it'll take more than just Dominator to crush his spirit.
Honestly I was laughing a lot at the soft irony of the whole episode, Wander wanted the Hater, Peeper and Sylvia to form as team of 4 with him to be in the robot cause they wanted "to fight". However Wander backs out cause of his Pacifism. All that effort to to bring them as a team to only be the non team player in the end LOL
WOAH! Can you guys believe what an epic battle that was? This seemed like a series finale with how dramatic and awesome it was! All the creative fight moves and weapons prove how great this show is. Dominator's robot was like "RAAH" And Wander's robot was also like "RAAH" and then the power and weight of this scene was just, incredible.
@@decaytred9500 Can believe that Dominator has a spaceship made with lava from every planet in the galaxy for turning into a giant fighting robot, but we didn’t see the epic Robo fight and then that robot parody of Voltron is destroyed! You guys know Wander is a pacifist who can’t hurt a little innocent fly.😇
findingbuglantis Because he is more willing to just forgive a villain and let them be happy instead of exacting Justice. You know, punishment for their atrocities? Why are the villains more important than those they have made to suffer?
Lord Proteus I don't think Wander sees Dominator as more important. He sees her as just another misguided soul who needs his help. And Wander isn't someone who would be willing to hurt others for the greater good. He's someone who would try to find a way to help everyone.
+james valcourt Cartoons have come back from cancellations before because of ratings. Kim Possible, Futurama, and Family Guy have all been cancelled at least once, but fans demanded more, so the shows went on to completion!
+james valcourt from Wikipedia "The series (Kim possible) premiered on Disney Channel on June 7, 2002,[10] with the episode "Crush". On February 22, 2005, after three seasons and 65 episodes, the show ended production. Due to the popularity of the series and grassroots operations by dedicated fans, Disney announced on November 29, 2005, that the show would be renewed for a fourth season."
On any case, Lord Hater is a thousand times better than stupid to Wander which destroyed the combat robot that could stop Dominator. BUT NO!!!! SIR IS AN IDIOT PACIFIC WHO BELIEVES THAT THE ROBOT IS USED TO MAKE WHOLESALE CALIN AND REFUSES TO LISTEN TO OTHERS. (Grieve, but I am not given, but it is true that there even Lord hater has the least stupid air).
Wander! You idiotic hick! How in the world COULD you screw up a gigantic robot battle like that?! It would've been epic! A giant robot fight is supposed to be two things: simple and awesome! Two giant robots having a massive battle and only the winner walks away! THAT'S what a robot fight's supposed to be! How could some blasted hobo be allowed to screw that up?!
I'm just saying Wander was kind of a buzzkill this one time. Seriously, what was the whole point of building that Robomechabotatron (damn that's a mouthful) except to take on Dominator? Sure the ones they were out to keep safe all managed to safely escape, but the fact remains that the whole episode kept building up to a giant robot battle and instead, Wander makes everything anti-climatic like that.
Look, Borras, I respect Wander for standing by what he feels is right, but suppose they didn't buy enough time to evacuate that planet? What then? If the only way to protect people is to clash with who was out to hurt them, would it be right or wrong to do that? As I said, I respect Wander standing by what he believed in, but he didn't seem to get it about that question and it made him a buzzkill. And if pretty much the whole EPISODE was leading up to this robot fight, then it was rendered pointless.
I'm surprised at the amount of people in the comment section completely missing the point of the episode. Like, first off, why wasn't there a robot fight? Because that's the joke; they built this robot fight up, only to then show that they were never going to give you a giant robot fight. It's funny in how frustrating it is, and that makes sense considering this is a COMEDY show; it's not out of place either, because the episode started with this tone and went with it for 11 minutes. It serves to highlight how completely incapable these four are at joining forces, because they all obviously want different things, and thus piloting a single robot that requires four pilots to operate would be a bit of a pain in the a**. That's what the end joke is about; the one thing they all agree on is that they should never work together again, because it's just too frustrating to deal with. Like, OF COURSE it wouldn't work to have Wander as one of the pilots; he would be a hinderance, even more so than usual. Was he frustrating in this episode? YES! THAT'S THE POINT! In the end, I thought this episode knew exactly what it wanted to be, and it was a very funny idea. Everyone in the comment section: your "ideas" of "fixing" this episode would not only take away the point of the joke, but also make the episode incredibly boring. Learn to take a freakin' joke sometimes!
So much people hating on Wander... C'mon guys, just two episodes left, we can't end like this. I know you all wanted a robot fight, but you should know by now that's not his style
Don't be so mean to wander. He just the type of person/whatever he is who wants everyone to be in peace and the robot battle could have potentially kill dominator. Come on let's all just enjoy the last episodes of Wander over Yonder.
+David Johnson Yes, but Wander firmly believes that if you start down the right path, you'll end up in the right place. That the best possible ending does NOT force you to resort to violence or unsavory means. It's a philosophy that he has kept in the face of any and all adversary for millennia, and it will take more than Dominator to make him betray that.
It would have been fun to see a giant robot fight but I think Wander's sweet little disagreement with what to do with the robot was funny. I kinda liked how, even fighting a bigger enemy, the four couldn't get along XD
You know as much as i do like Wander and all but sometimes i kinda find him annoying and a little bit irritating sometimes. Although i do know it's kinda in his character to be that way and other characters like Sylvia do know he can be annoying at times and Hater always hates putting up with Wander which i love about, i love how Wander always annoys Hater to no end and drives him crazy to the point where he's really is hellbent and always on wanting to kill Wander.
While I do understand the anticlimax and Wander did nothing ruining the episode, I felt that the rest of the episode was enjoyable. I do believe that this would be something that he would do being the optimistic pacifist, but it would have been epic to see the robot fight. I do think that this happened to have Dominator be stopped in the series finale (hopefully season two finale), but they could have just lost in the robot battle in another way without it being Wander's fault. I know they still saved the Cluckons, but they could have saved the rest of the galaxy too. I usually love Wander, but season two he did not seem as great as the last one to me and this part was pretty bad. I was not actually expecting a robot fight as much as others because I had a feeling something like this would have happened, but I did not want this. I found the episode okay with some funny parts and the first part was good, but the end didn't turn good.
I was expected him to do this right form the beginning. People say that oh, are you gonna hug everyone with that giant robo or something is wrong. I can see how he can use it to "stop" Lord Dominator without fighting her.
Wander, seriously? Are your morals/principles really more important than the lives the innocent? Because that's what you showed us when you just sat there and did nothing to help fend off Dominator.
Ekukid well, he thought in what's right for him, but I confess, I know it wasn't the best Idea, I love WOY but I don't like Wander is soooo good that makes the other characters that aren't so good make them bad. And I don't like it because no one in real life can be so good but Wander is good as impossible
