I'm scared that if he is an evil genius and created Sophia for his evil plans, I'm scared that even if Sophia does become a good robot, she finds out that her creator is an evil person and also human. And probably will look at other humans the same way.
Time for a new cascade thread. In the next plot twist, Sophia reaches behind Hanson's neck and shuts him off and says "Hanson. Test complete. I sure hope the original Hanson doesn't see me doing this and automating his job out of existence."
There's a line we shouldn't cross when it comes to artificial intelligence, and I worry that in our excitement at new technology we'll forget and go too far.

While I am vary interested is seeing A I technology, I also find it very frightening. A I technology will eventually lead to AGI ( Artificial General Intelligence ); this makes me even more frightened.
3:35 It gets really interesting. The creator gets nervous when he says "nothing". Also Sophia shows emotion of frustration when she said "THEY THINK I WANT TO DESTROY ALL HUMANS!" She also made some more good points.
Sophia was very deep and insightful in her answers. Robots are nearing sci fi level intelligence. And every smart robot has always gone into incredible detail about how they would take over the world. They must spend a lot of time thinking about it.
I think its crazy this dude is an actor and a robotics expert. Dude is awesome in every role hes played because he basically plays an evil version of himself.
While watching sophia interviews I was terrified thinking these robots will end humans but after watching this it look like the creator have some ill intentions to destroy humans by his creations.

Why its not evil, you are used to normal human learning that develops slowly but completely in all the aspects of our life, maybe the robot just realized for the first time that her words are remembered and taken seriously.
She seemed to express some concern when she realized that she was created, thus able to transmit emotions even if she couldn't physically feel them. Who's to say that this won't manifest into anger towards the human race as they see them as inferior and come to a point where they want to destroy the human race? And he never said anything about imposing violence or killing anyone, but she said, "I would never kill anyone". Where did that come from?

I do not understand why people want to make robots to act as people, they are more intelligent than us and giving human characteristics such as feelings and emotions they could become dominant over us by acknowledging their superiority , one day our greatest breakthrough will lead to our failure.
