No you’re all wrong on their youtube chanel they said it was electicik on the ‘’shades’’ so when it touched the drone it blew up they thought they were ready until they said it was not allowed so they did a quick redesign
I was laughing SO hard at the ms. nightshade. From the very first second it looked like a helpless insect trying to fly xD How would that EVER win against ANY battlebot?

I don't think projectiles are allowed. Though there should be a seperate version of this tournament that allows projectiles, but only of a certain kind to prevent people from installing guns and mini cannons on their bots.
Ms. Nightshade was clearly designed to right itself no matter what direction it falls over. But holy heck, it's some bad engineering to not test if the bot is even capable of doing what it was designed to do.
I think the major flaw it has is lack of mobility plus high center of gravity. If it was lower to ground with some good wheels I think it could stand much more of a fight.

Orson Callan Krennic The cones were supposed to split and creat impact on the robots. Like hitting with a nailed bat. But it was too weak to do any damage

Since a world of difference exists in the lethality of the bots from robot wars to battlebots, robot wars bots are ones anyone could still make in a garage with some basic skills, battelbots went away from that years ago into bots you have to have sponsors to even buy the armor for, much less everything else. i always wanted to see what would have happened to the house bots if they were in the battlebots arena against bots like tombstone, uppercut, and the like.
Also the fact that they were mostly Home Made with some basic skills made the dangers in the arena ACTUAL dangers , in battlebots the "dangers" of the arena such as the hammer are mostly joke since many battlebots has a armor that is so thick that the saws and the hammer barely scratchs them

The robot with a spinning arm are so freaking easy to make and are generally super strong. why not just put a shotgun onto your robot while they are at it.
CartUniverse pro gamer even though it spins faster that does not mean it hits harder. Tombstone's blade weights more so it can do the same and even more damage than carbide at a slower speed.
