I tried to install one of these kits last night using the solder method, and now I am down one controller. I've got another kit for my other controller, and I'm definitely doing the non-solder method
@@dre1984In his defense, he didnt. Just because dude says "now here's where I made a human mistake. I tried to separate the cable but accidentally caused it to strip. So, we're gunna have to turn the L.E.D's on and off manually." However, I'm just curious where the cable gets soldered to on the board..
@@OhioBoii330the method he is using he is getting power from the battery so he has to manually turn it on and off… the solder method goes to the board and runs off the control of the Xbox button so it would turn on and off with the controller automatically…. There is a DIY video on the extreme RU-vid channel
@@austinmartin5550yeah. I dont think he fully understood the instructions as on his black controller the LED was still on after turning the controller off. Meaning he did both power methods as he insinuated that the soldering method simply sends a signal to turn on and off the LED. No, soldering it makes it so it takes power from the board instead of the batteries.
Man I would give the black led mod kit a try if I was to win the giveaway. Subscribed loved how genuine you are with the video showing all the accidents...lol keeping it real!!! I have the same white controller I would see if it comes out cool!
Thank you very much Diego! Sure does mean a lot man. I included my mistakes for comedy and to let everyone know what not to do lol. I’m going to be doing a big giveaway for the month of December so stay tuned 😃👍
@@EnriqueCanoYT so did I. Was trying to swap out the abxy buttons but I flopped it and the right thumb stick completely died on my series x controller 😂
I didn’t even mod mine just took it out to fix stick drift and I broke some pieces that have to be soldered on now 😭. Controllers are super easy to break gotta break one or two to understand how it works apparently.
Wherrreeeee would that cable have been soldered to the board tho? I mean, if I don't have to solder then I won't just because I for some reason can't really do it. I mean, I know how to, I just struggle to physically do it and it's always super sloppy and messy. But, where would I put it if I do decide to try it?
The R wire in the circuit is not connected somewhere. Power has reached the B button but not the other board with the rest of the leds. Gotta give it a once over again and make sure the power carries through.
@@Boy_itsMeee study Hinduism first then debate we believe god is not a person that is sitted somewhere in heaven like your childish religion we worship God in all forms of nature like stone, animals and whole universe god is pure consciousness and existence itself but your limits of foolishness is not enough to understand Hinduism the most ancient and diverse religion of world it's not like you childish Christianity that is created by modern people 😂
