If someone from eXtremeRate see's this please pin it. To answer some questions. It works with every controller so far but elite V2 is nearly impossible. For the elite v1 you need to make some mods on the kit For the elite v2 you need to do way more mods to the kit and add a battery just for the lights. I bought this from you guys a few days ago and installed it today! Works great so far. i didnt do the paper thing though because i figured the connectors were pretty snug already.

Just finished mine, it came out great! Wouldn't say its easy, but definitely not difficult thanks to the video, and they just look so dope!

Amazing led kit…it was honestly easy for me at least cause I work on my controller a lot…like changing buttons, aux ports, shells and other things…at first I got scared cause my blue light was really low but after searching through the comments I saw that it was a battery problem…I changed the battery pack and the blue light was nice and bright…PLEASE CHECK IF UR BATTERY ARE CHARGED WELL AND IN GOOD CONDITION…best mod I have ever done on my controller :)

Amazing product. Works great and video helps a lot. The most tricky part would be lining the lights up for the joysticks. Be very careful or the joystick might pull the sticky led off.

I’m getting this for Christmas and I’m already someone that bought things from extremerate so my controller is almost modified and it’s going to be more with this, it’s so cool

honestly its not too difficult it just takes a while and I doubt you will break any thing if you fallow the guide and instructions. there are alot of tight spots when it came to putting the LED's on, mainly getting things to stick or stay in certain places. and make sure that you screw down the circuit boards kinda tight because if you don't then some of the buttons won't work correctly when pressing them down. and also sometimes if you don't have charged batteries or there like close to dead then the blue lights will go dim before the others. so I guess its also cool in that way too because it lets ya know that you batteries need to be charged .

I opened a xbox controller before but still surprises me how simple and easy to understand the whole controller is comcaped the switch joycons and the 3ds (dont bring me back the that nightmare I went throught)

What do i do when the blue color doesnt work anymore. I installed it and everything and it works perfectly. The blue color used to work at the beginning but then the next day it barely glows. Is there a way to fix this?

Hey I like this design and just ordered this kit, but I have a question. Rather than using paper to secure the LED power contacts under the battery pins, could I use light solder to solder to the LEDs power contacts and run those to a known positive and Negative connection? I already have a custom led installed using these connections but I’m afraid of damaging the film that this is on by soldering.

So the paper that is behind the ribbon cable, that’s placed there to wedge the contact points to make a better connection? And I don’t know why people are saying this is hard, this is a simple and easy to do mod. Stupid simple, I wish I had the money to buy this. I really do. surely there is a better solution to the power connection that a folded bit of paper that will get knocked out the first time the controller is dropped? Solder paste? plug?

Hello, Great mod here, I did it today,, I'm having one problem. Lights comes on for less than a minute while controller in use. However lights stay on while the xbox is off. i'm pressing away on buttons and using the anologs, staying on. Full Battery but it's a 3rd party. not sure if that could be it.. or is it when it rumbles, will test more to see if I can narrow it down. all buttons and sticks work normal on the controller. I did the wedge with the paper also, i was also thinking about soldering the Ribbon cable onto the battery contacts, but not sure if that's really the problem..

Okay so just installed it, seems to work good, but the XABY buttons seem to lack some sensitivity. Any suggestions on how to fix?

I noticed that the color in the light is hard to see, especially the abxy buttons. When it is in a dark room, do all the buttons light up evenly?

I just gave this a go, the 2nd part aint that clear as the hands cover up putting it under the pins (5:30 - 6:10 ) and I have no idea how your ment to angle the F pice so it fits evey time I tried it just fell out bloacking the 2nd motherbored when I went to but it back in. The glue is too faded to do anything now so im stuck with a dead product

I just bought the XB1 Controller DTF LED Kit. I installed it and everything and when i press the menu button for 5 seconds, the LEDs just blinks red for one time. What should i do?

Just installed mine and once the batteries are put in, the lights immediately turn on. Did I do something wrong? To further clarify, unless I remove the batteries the LEDs are always on. Now that I think about it, my kit included a black wire that I did not install. I don’t believe the video or the manual shows where this goes.

7:22 . I don't see the reason for the little bits of paper. It just seems like a means to an end job that you have to replace better, but I'm still curious what the reason for it is besides a temporary or easy way to not make this an easy job anyone can do with the paper or you would maybe use tape or something else more permanent to keep them in place keep them from being in contact with the main controller board? Also, there's no annotations, advisory or caution in the whole video which in my opinion would really help instead of just the music.

I bought one recently and I can't make the lights turn off. They turn on instantly once the batteries are in place. Can someone help?
