This project combines a wide variety of sensors and visual inspections to ensure that all DIMM slots are clear of obstruction installed correctly. A conveyor system elevators creates a loop for the work pallets to travel through the DIMM insertion stations, then stop at the manual turn table stations where operators complete the final server assembly. The unique pass through system lifts the work pallets off the belt so that finished pallets can pass-thru to achieve a faster cycle time. The tray loader on the rear of the cell keeps the robot fully supplied with product for hours without needing to be tended. The MotionCell XL forms the base foundation of these cells, allowing for rapid production and modularity for upgrades in the future.
