ROBOT!!!!!!!
Loved that you've provided resources for control system design. Being a Mechanical Engineering graduate, I was searching for something useful that could expand my knowledge in this domain. Now I know where to learn from!
Do you know a way in which this knowledge of control system design can be applied (at home, online)? Generally all the courses that you suggest have a project along with the theory.
If you have an Arduino Board, a DC motor, a Motor Shield, and a potentiometer, then try to implement a PID controller with PWM to do a position Control. If you want to do something more advanced, try to build a 2 wheel self balancing robot
@@RobotixwithSina wow! Thanks for this! I do have some of the above-mentioned stuff. I'll try for the self balancing bot after learning the theory!! :)
@@animeshsinghal3405 Animesh sir, can you please suggest course in India to start programming or become jobready in this field. I am in last year. Also suggest resources from which you are learning theory.
Seriously thank you so much Dr. Robot! As a kid I've always been fascinated in Technology and Science but what got me into where I am today is robotics. More specifically the Da Vinci surgical robot and I wanted to understand more of the field and get the skills needed. As a undergraduate mechanical engineer these videos are awesome!!! You gain yourself a new subscriber :)
Thank you so much for these videos!, I watched the three parts (mechanical, electrical and software) of engineering in robotics and now I have to decide for which part shoud I focus, even though I have some background in each part and also like a lot of things in the mechanical, electrical and software development of a robot
I was confused before this video about being a mechanical engineer, i didn't know where to start despite my passion for this field. thanks for making everything clear.
you're welcome Mahmoud. However, If you are an absolute beginner, I'd suggest you watch this video first: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J0ssFp7yN8Y.html
All this sounds complicated, but damn it, I’m a 3rd year materials engineer who dreams of building robots. I’m not letting that stop me from figuring all this out.
Do not be discouraged by the number of steps and skills you need to pick up. This roadmap is a comprehensive roadmap. Contact me, I'll review your resume and I'll put together a customized plan for you.
I have to redo my studies. My bachelors is in a very unrelated field (was forced into it by my parents). Going to do an associate degree in computer and electronics engineering from Grantham University and then do an undergraduate certificate in mechanical engineer from EIT. This will take about 2 years and I will follow along with your video. I will also do mini projects to add to my CV
Is mechatronics more beneficial for a robotics engineer or computer science? What are the options available in the field of robotics after doing computer science engineering?
Both Mech Eng and CS/CE students need to learn Mechatronics. Stay tuned, in 3 weeks or so, I will create a Video on Robotics Software Engineer and I will answer your question there
thank you so much for this video...this is going to help me alot... please make a video on humanoid robots. how can we learn this or make a carrier in this field...
Sir, please make a video on how can a Btech mechanical engineering student apply for Masters abroad (in US, UK or Germany) in robotic systems software.
Hi sir, may I know where can I learn more about pneumatic and hydraulics? The link you've provided in the description is not working. Thank you and I appreciate the good work that you've done so far!
I'm gonna tell u the truth, as a former mech engineering major switching to computer eng you should know this. 1.- mechanical engineers do not cover much or any coding aspect of the robot, even if you learn C, you will not use it, because there is someone else who does it better. (companies work with a team of engineers) 2.- most industries will hire you to do just "mechanical engineering" stuff which is designing the physical parts (the body, the materials,) why? they need to know if the robot will be able to do this and that or if it will break if you apply to much force or heat in certain areas. so that is your job, basically applied physics. if you are passionate about robotics and electronics, maybe a computer/electrical engineering major is better for you, or a software engineering major. but this is just my opinion. when people say "mechanical enginnering" is the most versatile enginnering degree, it does not mean that you can do and work as anything, it means that you can work anywhere. physical bodies and mechanics are included in almost everything that is why it is called versitle, you can work in robotics, bioengineering, aerospace and etc, but doing the same stuff, designing physical parts, understanding thermodynamics etc. it's an amazing major, and i was doing really good until now, i even got to work in some robotics researches as a mechanical engineer, but it is not for me, it is not what i want to do when it comes to robotics. KEEP IN MIND!! i did not complete my major in mech engineering, but this is what i can see in my future taking mech engineering courses. and you can still work in anything you want with any enginnering major, companies will hire you as long as you know the stuff. but ill say it again, if you passion is programming the robot, circuits and etc, mechanical engineering will only teach you about the physical part. some extra notes: tbh no enginneng major witll teach you everything you need to know, it will just guide you through the basics and then you have to learn own your own in order to do what you want. mechanical: body, steel, gears electrical: circuits cs/software eng: the programming i chose computer because is a combination between electrical and CS, i wanted to do software but is not available at my school, but computer engineers can also become software engineers so all good. btw i i made any grammatical mistake, im writing this at 4am, i just decided i want to switch majors and if you are doing mechanical eng for robotics, maybe you should switch as well.
I'm working on it. Stay tuned. I'll try to publish it in 2 weeks or so. It takes a lot of time to create these videos considering it's my night-time job. Thank you for your support Ritvik!!
As a mechanical engineer to become full robotics engineer you need to have Pro knowledge in mathematics and electronics(logic gates), basic knowledge in mechanical and electricals principles and if you want to be multiskilled then softwares knowledge will make you unbeatable robotics engineer. But this knowledge also" CANNOT LAST LONG" one more new technology which is leading Now is Quantum mechanics . In another 6- 8 years it will become versatile. Although the technology increases but it's not beyond the Pro knowledge of mathematics . Which I felt bored in learning times and now I regret that mistake.
@@RobotixwithSina Sir that doesn't mean I like paid promotions. But while I watching your content, it's annoying when seeing in the middle. That's why I asked.
Sir, what courses do you learn to get into the robotics field? Sir, tell me, are you a mechanical engineer or electrical engineer, or mechatronics engineer? Sir, I want to become a robotics engineer like you, sir, what do I study to get into robotic engineering?
@@RobotixwithSina, yes, sir I am a beginner in robotics. Sir, Is a mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, or mechatronics engineer, which one to choose? Tell me, sir.

@@RobotixwithSina yes sir i am in 3rd year engineering now, i have commented about my education on your video "Top 3 programing skills in robotics" u had also replied me. In this one video u showed the whole path to learn mechanical robotics. Thanks a lot sir.
Sir , is the machine design course listed above sufficient for me to design a robotic component say robotic arm. Like is it sufficient to get knowledge to find out which types of gears pully systems are needed , how to make them interact to get desired motion? Also sir great fan of your work .
I'm seeing that this information is self taught, while I'm sure some go to school for it. I have an interest in becoming a Electrical Engineer, there are a few areas that interest me ie Robotics. Is self taught better than schooling or is it just about completing the goal faster?
it does not really matter that much. you just need to acquire the necessary skills and do some good hands-on projects. Watch my other roadmap video on becoming a Robotics EE.
Hello, please I need an answer, please Is mechatronics a specialty within mechanical engineering the same as air conditioning and refrigeration, or is it a separate specialty for its case? And is it possible to turn a mechanical engineer into a mechatronics engineer (mentioning all the possible ways)?
Hey, thanks for this amazing content. I have a question. I have completed my bachelor in mechanical robotics and automation and knowledge and intrest in design and development. I want to be in robotics feild. What should be the roadmap please
Hi , this is interesting video how to start robotics , I am a mechanical engineer and wants to know specific about robot arm for welding . which course should I take to be specific on welding arm?
@@RobotixwithSina WOW!, Sir I have to say you're really such a modest person your video was very nice. I study mechanical engineering I have a problem I wish you can help me. the thing is I'm in my last year of university and I kinda feel exhausted; for example I feel I don't like studying, CAD modeling and Mechanical analysis as much as before and I began to start saying what if I studied Computer engineering or EE. These bad feelings started since beginning of COVID-19 pandemic. In general my interests are robotics and mechatronics because they are multidisciplinary but my friends say it's gonna be a jack of all trades and master of none but I don't think so. I'm afraid of the day that I go to work as mechanical engineer and not liking it. I wanna love my work like every human being. what surprises me is that I was a TA in dynamics one year ago and I liked it but now I'm not sure. Sorry for my English, I'm working on it.
@@mohammadhoseingheshlaghi6209 : I thinks these are all right questions you are asking yourself. I used to be a Robotics Mech Eng and I transitioned to Robotics Software Eng 1 year and half ago. now I truly enjoy my work as I'm doing a lot of Math, Algorithm, and Computer science stuff. Math is what I loved from when I was a child. It's never late, you can always switch. Good things is for Rob SW Eng, there are a tone of resources online that you can use to teach yourself. Contact me if you want to become a Rob Eng or a Mech Eng. I'll be happy to be your mentor. your English is great by the way
What about repairing them or fixing them if needed? Would love to design and build them. But i also want to fix them in case they break or not working. Do they do that as well?
thx so much for the informations im actually studying to get my master in mechanical engennering , its my first year and im asking if machine learning is worth learning to shape my skills in the field beside my studies?
@@RobotixwithSina But don't you think it's just because SolidWorks was the "only" option they had? I say this because they are very similar and practically have the same tools, and I also see some companies today asking for one or the other. I usually see people who sell the SolidWorks course saying that you have to learn it, but on further reflection, do you still stand for that position? I am learning both, but I prefer autodesk, so I would like to know if the labor market is inflexible or if there is a chance that autodesk will gain more and more space in it.
Hloo sir i am in 1st year of mechanical engineering how can i further in my 3 college years can learn mechanical robotic engineer from basic to advanced .
